Hi Simon
Did you get the profile charging issue resolved?
I have what I think is the same problem but not getting any sense from Porsche or my local OPC.

Congratulations on your order. So far my Cherry Red Taycan still looks as good as new. The metalic paint looks really nice with a layer of wax. Most of the other Taycans that I've seen on the road have been white or volcano grey. Not sean any of the more interesting colours around where I live.
Hi. I've had mine for 6 months now and have only ever charged at home or at work. Just a tip for home charging in the UK. You can get a cheap rate night-time tariff. I get 4 hours at 5p a kWh. That gets me 20 miles of range each night for 50p = 2.5p/mile which covers my commute and a bit extra...
When I bought my 4S in Nov 2020 from Bolton Porsche I signed up to a £24/month service plan for 3 years (= £864) which covers the first 2 services over 4 years. My car has PSCB but they didn't add anything on for that. Looks like the price has shot up since then.

Porsche finally fixed the brake regeneration on my car. The dealer originally told me it would take 200 miles for the disks to bed in, then after I'd done 500 miles I questioned it again and they said 1000 to 2000 miles! I complained to the service manager and he agreed that there must be some...
Hi. My Taycan 4S with Surface Coated brake disks also did the nudging thing initially but it has stopped now. It did it for about the first 200 miles. No idea what caused it or why it stopped, but I am ware that the PSCB brakes need a period of running in so it could be that. I assume you have...
I don't get any green arc at all when I brake and never have (500 miles so far). I'm OK with the brakes bedding-in explanation but I have little confidence in the dealer's estimate of the mileage before it starts to brake using regeneration.
Not seeing any regen at all in the centre power meter when I brake, and it definitely feels like it is using the brakes. When I switch on regen mode I get a small amount of regen shown in the meter say 10 or 15 degrees at higher speeds and maybe 5 degrees at lower speeds. Putting the regen in...
Does anyone know how the regen works with the surface coated brakes? My car doesn't appear to use regen when I brake, and when I switch the regen on it only gives a small amount of regen. I believe this is because the brakes need to be run-in initially. But I've done 500 miles now. Dealer has...
Frank has made a very valid point here.
I've just come from a Panamera and my wife has the Macan. Both are great family cars with big luggage capacity.
You need to check you can fit all the baby stuff in the Taycan. You may be surprised how much space a pram takes up - I suspect it might fill...
No but I didn't ask either.
I have noticed how much less reliable the newer porsche models are compared with older ones. My 968 Sport and 996 GT3 never visited the garage except for routine servicing in approx 150,000 miles between them. Whereas my last 2 Panameras were regular visitors with a...
Regarding the lights, I wish I'd spent the money on the torque vectoring plus which I assume is like having a limited slip differential (if anyone has this option please comment).
For the colour I think is is essential that you see one in the flesh. I was very dissapointed with the dolomite...
Ok so my car has been fixed. Took them 2.5 days and dealer said that they tried to do it themselves but ended up having to get porsche Germany to dial in and fix it. Don't actually know what they did though.
