Were there any other settings needed to change the view? I switched the above setting as indicated, but it didnt seem to change the default view. I can manually change the screen to get this bird view by switching cameras, but the default view is still the original wit the backup camera...
Appreciate that - picked up the loaner a few hours ago and they were at least able to get me into an electric Macan. SA didnt yet have all the details, but told me that they discussed needing to order "modules" so it is more than one bad one. She said I should plan on 6-8 weeks.
Appreciate you all sharing your experiences here. II just got the red circle last night on my 2020 Turbo - it got towed in this morning and I am currently waiting for more info on what they find. When I called the SA about the drop off I told her that I had heard that module replacement would be...
Yes - the 9volt version is nice looking but less functional since it sits low and doesn’t sit at the angle of the Tactic version. I used the 9volt prior.
I am pretty pleased with it - I like the ability to angle the phone screen and it fits the cup holder perfectly. I still have the second one available - let me kn
I get this periodically as well. The volume/intensity varies - my belief is that it relates to the parking brake disengaging and getting slightly "stuck."
I ended up ordering one of these and, because the shipping was the same for one unit or two, I ended up ordering a second with the thought that if someone else in the US wanted one I could save you on shipping. If you are looking for one of these and want to save oni the international shipping...
Looks really nice, but a little pricey at over 200 USD with shipping. Will keep an eye on this to see if they are able to reduce the pricing down the line - thanks for sharing!
I'm not sure there is a solution to this, but I have found that snow and ice accumulates pretty quickly in the wheel wells and builds up to the point of rubbing tires. Anyone have success stories on preventing this by chance?
Seems like it might be unrelated, but I intermittently get a vibrating noise from the area of the sport chrono clock that seems to be from the entire trim piece that the clock sits on moving slightly. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and, if so, whether you were able to resolve it...
I have been following the threads for aftermarket soft close doors (https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/aftermarket-softclose-doors.4036/ and https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/porsche-taycan-soft-close-door-modification-2020-2023-models-unsure-of-24.27574/). This looks like more of...
Apologies if this is a dumb question, but I am quite new to this - I checked my 2020 Turbo and was able to clear all but the following:
Doesn't seem to be a major issue, but is there some reason this one won't clear?
I haven't tried using the tow hoot mounts on the Taycan, but have used these on Cayennes in the past and did run into some issues. I used this https://stonsho.com/collections/taycan on mine and highly recommend it.
+1 to this. I did the same with the plans to leave it off, but actually like it as is. I do like the option to take it off if and as needed and much prefer it to the tow hook mounted versions I've used on previous Cayenne models.
My local dealership has the replacement parts in hand and I have an appointment in a couple of weeks. I was told that they are requiring owners to bring the Taycan in and leave it before the parts are being released to prioritize those that are actually being driven (versus those that are just...
