I guess, but it seems like the profit potential is huge. The software has already been designed…they are already doing it for 1st gen cars…and for those who are paying monthly it is a recurring revenue stream. They could even require a six-month, year commitment.

My thoughts exactly. It is a missed revenue stream and bad customer service (setting up expectations with no announcement that the service would be discontinued).
