As for the outside door/fender side vents. Those are open only if you don't have the touchable charging port. As you have it on the new car, there's this related "feature" to it.
I have FitcamX too. You can remove it and return the car to original state easily. It's just a piece of plastic changed for another one with some electronics in it.
I've done Brno-Amsterdam and Brno-Budapest and no problems at all. Both in winter, so range was a bit lower and still it was comfy.
Check out these apps & charging apps:
- Tesla (for superchargers, which are usually cheap and comfy option)
- Chargemap (for various country charging)
- My Porsche...
Also there is a option in PCM to "keep the battery more healthy" which you might have active and therefor it limits charging speeds to preserve the battery.
I have it (it was part of the features)... And even that I would not order it, I like it mainly in stop-go traffic and highways as Vanko says. It's a good releaf in those situations, but you need to keep your hands on the steeringwheel, as it would call you back, and beep in about 30sec anyway...
Good question. Sincerely I did not know that info either. Been on an Porsche event last week, to try all Porsches on a race track, one of the instructors told me so. And as I "luckily" have Sport Chrono, I did not investigated further...
I think heat pump was not standard for early models. But I might be wrong.
Onboard charger is most likely rated 9.6 kW in US, and 11/22 kW in Europe. I'm in Europe and the 22kW faster one was an option for first gen. I believe :)
Mine would be also similar:
Must
- PB+
- 2+1 seats in the back
- heat pump (better energy use)
- heated seats in front
Optional
- Sport Chrono
- heated steeringwheel
- 22 kW onboard charger (11 kW is standard)
- Adjustable (sport) seats
- glass roof (required to put roof-rack on)
- PASM
- Bose...

(you might want to change a country in the URL or bottom bar)
I can just add my experience (in Brno, Czechia) here:
My car was there for ARB6 update about a week ago (stayed there for a week with a charging port replacement and overall periodic checkup) and when I got it back the dealer said that I can now charge the battery to 100% and that the car might...
Hey buddy, I have same rims and a bit more dents than you (and a bit bigger). Some are my "work", my wife made some as well and I plan to fix this way later, or when I plan to sell the Taycan in the future (no plans for that now). As this would never end :) — So I would suggest to live with...
Congrats!
— with the Chrono package, which I guess you have added, you can setup "Individual" mode and that is remembered. But you need to get from Normal to Individual each time you start the car. That applies to first gen, and I suppose for the second gen too. I have MY 2021.
— mirrors (for...
Maybe this will not help much, but I've seen servicemen cut the lines in half (where the leak is) and screw in a new section. Therefor the original line can stay and its portion is just substituted with new short section and two connectors.
Chun! Ah true... :)
- I have PB+ battery
- and I preheat seats (one bar) and wheel (just a little)
- same wheels: 20-inch aero wheels, at about 2.2 bars
I'd check a few dealers around you and gave them this opportunity. Let them give you the best deal and then decide in comfort. I bet they will fight over each other to give you a solid discount. If you stick to new.
If you go for used or new on the lot, the price might already be much much...
