Kent, congratulations!!!
I bought my 2021 4CT In December 2025. It had 8,000 mi on it. Now it's got 26 k!! I'm based in Denver, feel free to DM me if you want some local tips, especially with charging. I drove mine from New Jersey and driven to Arizona, to San Francisco, through IT and probably...
Just reminded me of this quote ...
"I can imagine that a lot of Taycans will be crashed moments after the driver has turned to his passenger and said, with a big, idiotic grin on his face: 'Right. Watch this.'"
--Jeremy Clarkson
When I first bought the car, I made the dealer drive it outside.
I'm just leaving the Utah mountains today. I'm glad you love the cars, they're amazing! Been enjoying the mountain roads here.
But I hope you weren't driving 130mph/210kpm through the mountain curves!! The closest I've come to that speed is 120mph while passing on a straight Colorado road with...
True but as Tigerbalm noted, without privacy protection. I turned off Google location tracking they already know too much (and probably ate recording it anyway.)
I've had multiple people comment in how incredibly quiet the car is. Far quieter than any ICE car Ive ever been in. So quiet that people don't know I'm driving when they call me. I also car hear the tires of other drivers outside. No insulated windows.
I went 20" for winter and in April went to 19" for everything else. (Selling my 21" rims.) I am Denver based and a skiier and iltake her soft roading now and then. (Currently in Vegas but will be going back through S. utah Tomo.)Haven't done the math yet but can tell the 19" are rims help...
I'm late to this party, but yes, I take my 2021 4CT soft roading. Pic taken at Escalante National Monument. We drove 50+miles on the road seen below: sand, gravel, washboards.
A yellow Chassis Error popped up about four times. Mostly when I was over 18-20 mph. But not all the time. I would...
.
Hahahaha. You should have seen me at the autocross 101 at the PCRMC trying to understand why all the men there (I was one of five women), kept talking about and how they all wanted the 21-in rims. And I kept asking questions, ..
"Are they better for autocross?" No
" What about...
Denver->Escalante --> Bryce -->Vegas--->Capitol reef--> Denver.
I haven't don't the math yet, but I'm pretty certain I'm getting 25miles extra to the charge. Since I take a lot of road trips and go soft roading, I'm much happier with the 19" , but of that's not you, them don't bother. I...
When I purchased my car December of 2025, the turismo's were the only EV station wagon available in the US. I'm a mom and cart kids around, go to home Depot, Go skiing, camping and take long road trips.
The cross tourismo is like no other car out there. Just next week I leave for vacation...
Oh! I have a 2021, too, but always have to use the Tesla app. Is this new, or did I miss a switch to flip? April was the last time I charged on a Tesla in California.
I'll have to try this for my next road trip at the end of the month.
Thank you for sharing. I have the same model you do but I'm out west (Denver-based) and take long road trips in places where charging is very limited. I find in 59/60° weather I think I'm getting much higher range. Do you drive in range mode? Do you use cruise control? Do you have aero rims? Or...
I really don't understand why you're saying the CT is not a family car. It's a STATIONWAGON and huge. I haven't been in the new Macan's, but I've had EV and ICE ones and they're actually smaller cars. I bought this because I have kids and cart them around quite a bit, previously with car seats...
