Silent Assassin: Stealth Satin Black Taycan Turbo S

No Idea about any local owners clubs, I do know there are a pair of GTS’S locally, as the chap who detailed mine, also does there’s!! Play date sounds fun, theres a Porsche club of gb for Yorkshire. Some Porsche owners can be a bit funny though, bit of an elitist view on the Taycan not being a...

How good is your Taycan at winter?

I've had zero problems with the my Porsche app communicating with the car, in contrast I've had issues with the Tesla App communicating with my Tesla Model 3 LR that is about to be sent back :p How have people been finding driving in icy conditions? Snow's disappeared where I am but it's -7...

From Taycan Turbo to Tesla Model S...

I've gone from a Tesla Model 3 LR to a Taycan Turbo S. Tesla tech is superior no doubt (even in the model 3 which has better tech than the S), the supercharging network is a bonus but it's not a driver's car. I drove a model S for about a week, wasn't impressed with the handling, build quality...

Did an OTA software update change my car settings?

As a former Tesla owner as much as I did not bond with that car the software implementation was very good, including the frequency of OTA updates an application to older vehicles. Porsche are not a software company, but they are now in a space where the software is as important as the driving...

Did an OTA software update change my car settings?

I've noticed this behaviour on mine now, before all doors would unlock when I approached the car, now only the driver's side unlocks, and I have to either press the unlock button on the door or fumble around with the fob. Can this be changed back? It's very annoying when passengers are trying...

How reliable (or unreliable) are these cars.... really ?!?

I have got rear wheel steering, one of the plus points for me was its low-speed handling and manoeuvrability for a car of its size. I don't think refresh models will shrink much, would be interesting to see what the 718 Caymen Electric is like, might be more practical as an EV. I'd like to...

Taycan Owners and Very Narrow Lanes

I live in North Yorkshire, had my TS for about 1 week now and I'm terrified of Leeds City centre multi-stories!! The ramp turns on some of them and narrow parking bays are giving me sleepless nights! I am going to get PPF done at the very least as there are some roads in my local area with a...

How reliable (or unreliable) are these cars.... really ?!?

I had similar concerns to in regard to reliability. but pulled the trigger on CPO Taycan Turbo S about a week ago. It's a stunning car, who knows if I'll have problems, but I ensured that all recalls had been done, latest software updates and I checked the battery tray on collection of the car...

Buying Advice, new Porsche (Taycan Turbo S)

Buying Advice, new Porsche (Taycan Turbo S)

Thankyou for the advice! It has 20,811 miles, I think that’s reasonable for its age? The dealership isn’t local to me where I am buying the car, but i am planning on dropping my local dealer to say hello and Find out what services they offer etc.. i am still waiting for the dealer where I am...
