Took my MY23 4S ST in to my local dealer on Wed to have the parking cameras fixed; I had to wait 3 weeks before it could be booked in. I requested something electric as a loaner and they supplied an electric Macan.
I was happy with that, but not at them calling me the next day to say they’d...
That's yet another terrible, terrible response. I used to work in a senior management customer service role for a company, reporting to C-level, and cannot believe a global brand as massive as Porsche can get this so very wrong, so many times at so many levels. Truly shocking processes and...
Received the same letter earlier this week, following my email to Porsche asking why I had heard nothing at all about this issue. Feels like I wouldn't have received anything if i hadn't contacted them.
I bought my MY23 4S ST in Jan '25 from a Porsche dealership and have heard absolutely nothing about this from Porsche and I've received no letter either.
VIN lookup (https://recall.porsche.com/prod/pag/vinrecalllookup_V3.nsf/VIN?ReadForm&c=usa) states:
"There are currently no open recalls for...
Briefly got a few photos today after a maintenance wash. Still need to take some proper ones though...

My 4S ST has done 10,722 miles. It says next service due in 17,650 miles or Dec 2026 (in MyPorsche 'Service Intervals'). When I bought it, there were 9,500 miles on the odo.
I have a PDF of a 111-point check from 31/12/24 that states 9,487 miles. It was supposedly serviced at the same time...
And this is why it's absolutely bonkers.
If my charge is below 25% and I want to charge in a cheap electricity perod, I either have to control the settings via my charger app / energy provider app, or wait until the cheap electricity period time before i plug-in.
Madness. Why don't Porsche...
I've read some horror stories about swirl marks and paint damage by valets and am getting paranoid.
Any advice about getting someone to do this? I have booked these guys for an 'Exterior Safe Wash' on Wed morning. I know nothing about this area and this is my first car of any real value. Any...
As another Neptune owner here, I approve of this colour and spec!
I can't comment on the brakes, but the spec otherwise looks good. Mine was £62k/€74k, purchased last month with a really good spec too, but only 9,500mi/16,000k on the clock (CPO, 12/2022 '72 plate), though of course it's only a...
Ahh yeah, I think I saw that later last night when investigating. There was a card in the car that didn't work (last owner's I guess), so I suppose I'll need to wait for that. A bit of a pain as it's the next two weeks I need it most before my charger is installed really. Not the end of the...
Well, all I can say is WHAT A CAR! :D Never before have I enjoyed a 250 mile drive up the M40/M6 in my life!
Beautiful car.
As for my charging strategy - thanks for all your advice and comments here, all entirely sensible. I read through the thread several times on the train this morning...
Collecting my J1 4S ST tomorrow (see here) and driving home. It's a 230 mile trip starting in Guildford heading to the NW. The battery will be at 100% on collection. Do you think I will safely make it to Stafford (161 miles) before needing to recharge as estimated by Electroverse? (I'm not...
Thanks! Neptune certainly isn't for the shy! My former choice was a much more conservative Volcano Grey (this one), so Neptune Blue is quite a bold change for me.
Thanks also for the advice re: charging - I actually plan to book tommorrow for an install of a charger. Any recommendations? I was...
