I will say I have had a couple of incidents like this when making a left turn. Scares the heck out of me. For me it was always in the same kind of situation, making a left turn after a car has passed or the other car was making a right from the same street I was turning onto.
Saw this, very interesting. In a perfect world we would get an update to add this to our Taycans. I will put on my optimist hat and hope for the best. 😄
Huh, I thought the top speed was 160 something but it looks like that is the Turbo S. The 4S (which I have) is specced at 155 on porsche.com. This would explain why I could not go faster on the track :). Though so far the tracks I have been on only have straight sections long enough to just kiss...
I can confirm this is working in my 2021 Taycan 4S. .
So far it seems pretty nice. I only discovered it was now working with my car on the last session of the weekend.
Well, I am in the same boat, no heat. I had not driven it for a couple of weeks. It was also extremely cold here during that time, -12 F. Bringing it in on the 11th. Sigh.
I have a 2021 Taycan 4S and just got the uPdate. I tested the Track Precision app and while I got a lot farther in the app I eventually hit a point at which the app said my vehicle was not compatible. This is much farther than I have gotten to previously. I was even able to load Track Precision...
I dropped my 2021 Taycan 4S off this morning for the wiring harness recall as well as the software update. I was told the update became available yesterday. Hopefully I will get the car back later today and can confirm the update. Please let me know if there is anything specific I can check for...
I would pay for the update if it added support for the Porsche Track Precision app. That is currently limited to 2022 Tacans.

The event I am planning on attending is this one: https://website.nordstern.org/calendar/#event=68921220;instance=20220422000000. I am not sure if you have to be a member to attend but you can take a look at the main Nordstern site for information.
Hi all. I would like to bring my Taycan 4S to Brainerd this April for the drivers training. Unfortunately the only level 3 charger in Brainerd is a Tesla Supercharger. There are a few 50kW chargers 30 minutes away but that would be more of a commute than I would prefer and 50kW is not that fast...
Thanks. The issue I am seeing is that the start button never lights up. I am thinking of making a dedicated trip to a charger nearby during the week when I might be able to get through to the support line. Perhaps then I can debug this process. On PlugShare I have seen others complaining about...
I have had nothing but failure at two different Tritium 50 kW chargers (https://tritiumcharging.com/product/rt-50/).
I think most of the issues are the laughably bad UI on the charger and not a limitation of the Taycan that I have been able to see. After plugging in the vehicle no action that I...
