  1. Janko Lind Taycan 4S Review

I’m speaking from a few years experience driving BEVs (not Taycan). As a general rule, in my experience, you do not gain range by increasing wheel size. However, it could be that the 20" rims somehow are lighter and/or more aerodynamic and/or comes standard with wheels with less roll resistance...
  2. Porsche Taycan vs. 2020 Tesla Model S: Which luxury EV is best - Roadshow

Calling the Model S a luxury EV is kinda pushing it. I agree with @kevinod that the cars aren’t really comparable. The Model S is a family saloon car. In the Porsche lineup it’s more comparable to the Panamera IMO. We all know most of the advantages and disadvantages of both cars anyway...
  3. Taycan 4S Review and Drag Race Against Tesla P85D - XADER

It’s not surprising to see the P85D pull ahead, as it has a 0-100 km/h time of either 3.4 sec (insane mode) or 3.0 (ludicrous mode). The Tesla’s awesome acceleration tapers off in higher speeds though, so the 4S eventually passing it, is to be expected. Didn’t really expect it to happen that...

I only let passengers in after I’ve wrapped them in plastic and put them in trash bags. I’ve never heard any complaints, and they don’t seem to mind much about whether they’re in the back or in the boot.
  5. Janko Lind Taycan 4S Review

Bigger wheels definitely do impact range. However, the real question is whether increasing wheel size is going to have a real world impact for you. I think the answer is no. On longer road trips I don’t think you’ll notice the reduced range much. I doubt you’ll have to charge more often, but...
