I couldn't agree more, when you experience the issue and the elongated resolution, perspectives will change. I experienced the same issue recently as many others have (and the numbers are growing at my dealership). One Module went bad that was eventually replaced along with the 12v battery...
For info, I have a launch Vehicle, Its had a number of Recalls including the above, interestingly they also swapped the Lithium Ion battery at the same time as a recall item. The Porsche LiIon battery keeper also works on the Taycan to keep the Battery topped off if need be for long storage...
Yep I had the same, launch edition Turbo S, I think my cable was $800. I had a previous cable for my Panamera Hybrid but they changed the socket housing slightly between the chargers so you have to get a new one!!!
Can you confirm if you were able to get homelink to work based on GPS. Mine always has Off Road in the map section to the right!! Works great on the 911 but not on the Taycan. So far no response from Porsche.

There are several $0 options for supply cable, depending on whether you have a 30 or 50 amp supply. It comes default with a standard 3 pin plug but at 7 amps it takes forever to charge. So select the Nema 50 for a 50 amp install as folks have discussed.

Its hidden behind the dash, two blue LED lights installed in top of steering column indicate direction, all alerts are voice and tone, with a remote for mute, config etc...I did not want anything to be in sight.

As other folks have said the glass does create issues, my dealer installed a K40 (Radar and Laser), very neat installation, two detectors hidden under the front scope and a special license plate holder.
