Do you have to login each time you get to n the car and switch on, like a few others have said?

I've just realised that my Porsche app on CarPlay is doing the same thing. I'm not logging in and out of the phone app constantly just to get this working, guess I'll just leave it for now until a fix happens. Used to work fine without having to do this as others have mentioned, so no idea why...

I'm sure I have read either here on the forums or elsewhere on some FB owners groups that some OPC's frown at owners fitting these, claiming they could invalidate warranty claims.......which I find odd. Reduction in airflow was cited to be the reasoning behind the 'may invalidate your warranty'...

Pleasantly surprised to find since I carried out the update I've gained about 10 miles of range on the dash 'guessometer', although I expect that'll drop gradually over the next few weeks as the car recalibrates/readjusts to my driving style.

I had this notification pop up on my PCM this morning - Oct 2024 registered GTS ST J1.1 Is this the same update? I don't see any update code on the PCM, here's the description though -

Do you have LTE connectivity on the Taycan? Should be a little 'LTE' symbol near the top corner of the PCM screen. If it's not there and has been replaced by two little arrows directly on top of each other facing opposing directions then the car isn't communicating with the Porsche servers. You...

Pretty sure it's Vodaphone for the LTE service and the PTS trackers. There's a menu screen in the cars PCM you can bring up which shows the LTE signal strength and has the carrier name on it, be worth checking what it displays when parked on your drive.

Had this a few weeks ago. No LTE connection, tried two finger reboot but didn't work either. Finally fixed it by disconnecting the 12v battery in the frunk for 45 mins then connecting back up. LTE symbol on PCM returned and everything started working fine again. I did have it booked into my OPC...
