Bought my car a year ago but dealer was quoting USD$2500 for the T&W package at that time. Good for 5 years. Listed as Porsche (dealer?) direct. This covers up to 8 wheel repairs. Maybe not completely worth it from only that perspective as you can get them done for around $200-250 (Mission-e...
The Suncoast website doesn't provide any detailed specs (that I saw). Do you know for sure if this is an upgrade from the Porsche provided plug (appropriately gauged wire) or is it identical in spec? Sorry if I missed elsewhere.
Had same exact issue this week. I have a very similar set-up to yours and never had an issue up to now, after 1 full year of ownership. TX weather here has been in the mid-90's Fahrenheit. Good suggestion on opening the lid. Can't hurt to try.
When in Park you will see an icon under the word "sync" on the lower display that is three small lines. Press that and you should get your icons back. Will not show when not in park.
Not true that you need sport chrono. I am not as familiar with the RWD specs but I have a 2020 Turbo, without Sport Chrono. I just have to make sure the car is in sports mode and Launch Control works just fine.
I'll have to keep looking also but seems the icon only shows while in Park. I couldn't find it at first after I saw these posts and I remembered while driving, then it showed up when I put the car in park.
Given the wide range of feedback and experience, I'm guessing that dealer training and knowledge play a significant role here. My dealer told me they've been doing multiple Taycan's per day since the 2 updates came out March 26th. As many have already reported, they did say it was a difficult...
You are correct. It's not about which model, it's whether you have the power vs manual charge port doors. I believe there were a couple of other older threads on this as well
after you turn off standby but BEFORE you put the car in drive, tap the passenger screen. if you are on home screen you will see cockpit option and other icons. Should stay on after putting in drive. See if that works. If it doesn't, I'm really not sure.
seems to default back to standby mode after turning car off/on again. I had to uncheck the "standby" box for the passenger screen again, via the middle screen, under settings/displays. I can only do it while in park and not once I put it into drive and start moving. Maybe they only read...
MIne now works while driving. I will say, however, that after having another day with it, the setting seems to default back to standby mode when car is turned off/on again. I can only turn it on (disable standby) when car is in park, but once you do, it keeps working while driving.
It only works after WMA5 update. It works while moving, without a passenger now. It was as you said, before the last update. Have you had this campaign/update specifically? It was just released Monday for the US.
agree. think this is a dealer specific issue. Just picked my car up after wma5/wma7 updates over a 2 day period and everything is fine. Won't detail further here as there are other related posts.
Pretty much the same for me. Wireless Carplay is so much more convenient. Steering wheel diamond button was saved (homelink for me) but Instrument cluster diamond button (Sport sound for me) was not saved. Carplay came on the screen the second I got in the car without plugging in first. A...
