  3. EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

I was told footage was desirable but not necessary. I have had an abysmal experience from Porsche since purchase so I’m anticipating friction at every possible opportunity
  4. EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

Does anyone else have a video of this issue just incase I get asked for it during next weeks visit…?
  5. Taycan Meet-ups

Afraid I’m too far up north otherwise I’d be interested
  6. EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

Porsche Bolton say they can’t book in under this campaign yet. The procedure has not been communicated to them apparently
  7. EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

Interesring I have mailed my PCGB contact to ask for info, my MOT due in June anyway so may be able to get both done at once!
  8. EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

I don’t really see any merit in AI chatbot input - one of the best sources AI can reference is this thread, with the other being what is IIRC a German forum. Not having a go by any means, but just for info none of the ai chatbots will have any sort of revelation on this. However, I was under...
  9. TSB: Insufficient heating output in passenger compartment - March 4, 2026

Suppose it would make sense other components are to blame, considering some of us have had 1 heater per 12 months?
  10. EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

My local dealer have been told Q2/3 for a fix. They do not yet know if it’ll be OTA or a dealer job. I’ll not hold my breath
  11. Purchasing my First Tayacn

Built in NAV as a benefit of HUD this side of the pond isn’t going to be much use until they make the nav actually reliable due to the crashing issue. There is the workaround but it’s very much not ideal FoD innodrive with ALK as I understand it is different to Innodrive from the factory. Can’t...
  12. Purchasing my First Tayacn

As a small note be aware the 22kw chargers are all crap and if it dies, or has died, Porsche will replace it with the standard 11kw one. not an issue really but be aware! Spec looks decent otherwise!
  13. Purchasing my First Tayacn

I was in a very similar boat to you. My thread here https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/prospective-new-member-some-queries.30720/ I would personally advise against buying from Porsche Tewkesbury based on my experience. Paid for the car end of October. I have had it for a total of I...
  14. EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

My Porsche GB contact still assures me he is going to come back with a timeline for a solution. I still don’t yet have my car back, but I’m told it’s ready including latest software etc. Bought it in October and here we are! The software in the Macan 4S EV I have is great compared to the...
  15. EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

I spoke with Porsche GB head office today. He is going to followup to try and get an official statement but I’m not holding my breath. He said he was going to speak to PAG after discussing with the GB tech team. I was talking to them as part of an ongoing complaint as my CPO Taycan has been in...
  16. EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

all I want is official comms, is it really so hard for someone to officially announce something? compare this with what Volvo did with the new hardware for the EX90s, where they’ve done a recall campaign and significantly upgraded the hardware as the infotainment system was borked.
  17. EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

I suggest not telling Porsche there is a half viable workaround, they will never actually fix it otherwise!
  18. EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

This seems to have been a promising development. Can you simply plan a route including charging stops, turn off the charge planner but the route stays planned (and doesn’t crash)? I can’t test right now as my car is enjoying its fourth visit to Porsche since purchase in November.
  19. Electric Door Handles - Safety Concern

My understanding is a double pull of a Taycan door handle, in case of total electrical failure, will open the door as normal.
  20. How to get a decent test drive in UK?!!

Porsche Bolton let me their demonstrator out for a good couple of hours with no pressure at all. Easy enough done too all I did was ask. I have heard some dealers are way more restrictive
