Mine does the same. Been in a couple of times but they couldn't find anything untoward. They applied some grease the last time but the weather has been so wet lately i haven't noticed it..... Always worse in the dry. I will take note if we ever get a dry one!
Really sorry to hear that and I’m hoping that this isn’t an issue that we start to see more of. The one and only consolation is that it should be fixed quickly as it’s exactly the same problem as mine so they know where to start. Fingers crossed it’s rectified soon
The car is now ready to be delivered back to me. Just waiting to hear when. It was an issue with the Vehicle Tracking System, which had somehow managed to store some immobiliser faults. Centre console removed to access this which was then unplugged and disconnected overnight from the battery...
Latest is that a full hard reset of the cars security system is being carried out, on the advice of Porsche Germany. I will keep you posted. Porsche Aberdeen have been great by keeping me updated on a daily basis as to what is going on
That's good to hear Turboteeth.... If Porsche Aberdeen get in touch today, and they haven't resolved the matter I will let them know you had a similar problem.... Thank you
They rang me this morning and asked for any info i had regarding the car just prior to it not starting. I explained the loss of LTE several days before and also reminded them of the brake travel message
I'm surprised really that there isn't a diagnostic check that tells them what the issue is?
Likewise. I lost the LTE around 4 days earlier and rang my dealer as I was heading off on a trip to Scotland a few days later. Is it safe to use i asked? But sir..... Of course it is!!
Not as yet no. I have been contacted by Porsche Aberdeen to say they have recovered the car to their facility, but nothing further. I will update as and when I have any news
Well, got the car back a few months ago after having new heater installed. Had a trip to the River Dee for three days salmon fishing. Thought id give the car a good run. Got there fine, raising the suspension meant i could get to the river no problem at all. Last day, the saturday, got into my...
I'm a fan of the sports sound, as and when the mood takes. I had a GTS on loan which was a nicer sound..... good luck with the venture and I would be interested
I had a 4S and the brakes were superb. Since going to the Turbo i have, since picking up the car from new, had to left foot 'drag' the brakes after first setting off in the wet. They then work fine. Porsche have had the car and said all is well..... maybe thats just how they are
Correct, and Porsche confirmed that it was in the manual. However, they still advised against it for some reason? When i get chance i will check with the service guy i deal with
I had a loan GTS for a few days ..... I am a fan of the sports sound and the GTS is so much better. Surely it is available OTA? .... I will ask the dealer
