I think i figured out what the problem is .I recently bought a BMW XI and when I started charging at the Porsche charger it connected fine but did not charge.I then went into the settings on the charger and clicked on vehicle. On the screen appeared the The Taycan with a hashtag.I deactivated...
Absolutely agree.I drove a tesla S recently and the car is not even close to my Taycan 4S in all respects and i mean in all respects ie interior, fun to drive, quality and most of all service.I hear loads of bad stories about how bad it is to service a Tesla
Theoretically there is a difference between charging at 150Kwatts versus 350Kwatts however practically in my experience there is very little difference. Most of the time when I start charging at 350 Kwatt charger it starts out somewhere around 250 Kwatts but than quickly slows down to around 150...
no problem charging the Tesla S on a Porsche charger but the limit is at 30 Amps and i did not install the latest software version of the charger which according to some people on this forum seems to throttle the charging of EV's other than the the Taycan
Right on I have a 4S and it drives like on rails in all conditions.I also have driven the Tesla S and as you say there is no comparison in terms of quality and driver experience. If you have to choose between the real wheel drive Taycan and the Tesla S you would be a fool to buy the Tesla which...
No problem. i live in a condo and the Tesla car owners in my condo use my Porsche charger all the time with no problems using their adapter. The charging current is limited to 32 Amps
Agree totally the Porsche charger is just fine if you keep the Amps to 32.I have monitored the temps on the charging cord and the outlet and they are just fine ie on the outlet room temp and at the end of the charging cord warm but not hot.32 Amps is plenty for overnight charging
Lease so you can get the 7500 dollar tax credit which you will not receive if you purchase the Taycan.Make sure that the lease agreement is structured in such a way that it reflects the 7500 tax credit the lease owner receives from the IRS
