This has already happened in Europe with quite a few Superchargers open to non Teslas using CCS which every car in Europe has as standard now. You use the Tesla app to authenticate and pay. Only issue is The Tesla chargers are a lot slower in reality than the other rapid chargers in the UK...
Not true at my OPC, I can order a new Taycan but they said it won't come with electronic steering adjustment due to chip shortages so they have been up front about it.
To be honest the only thing it actually affects is the easy entry and exit bit where the steering column moves in or out. I have an electric steering column and never used it to change anything, set it up on collection and I would never need to move it again. I get the specced it and not...
Yep 2nd this I used them on last car and my Taycan. Revive are used by my OPC as well! have had 2 mission E wheels refurbed and they are colour coded in exterior colour gentian. Great job
Front tyres definitely wear quicker due to weight of car and steering is all on the front tyres unless you have RWS. My fronts were changed at 13k miles and I still have 4mm on rears and have now done 14.5k miles. I drive what you would say is enthusiastically. 21 inch P zero elect Taycan...
Be aware if you use your Porsche charging card you will pay a per minute rate AND a per kw rate in UK, I would of thought that would be the same everywhere unless the OPC allows you to charge for free
I can lock and unlock my car via the connect app, I have also been able to change timers and profiles via the app for the last 15 months when plugged in just fine, no issues at all
great and fair an accurate summary. Agree on those wheels, I went Mission E in exterior colour which I love. Interesting surround view helps, I didn't but will option it next time. Re the app since the major update 6 months ago I can connect every time and preheat the car every day, seems random...
Should add to this that adaptive cruise on the Taycan works just as well in slow moving traffic as does auto regen keeping you the same distance from the car in front in traffic.
One pedal driving - not quite, as it's a different interpretation in the Taycan, more regen in Taycan but through the brake pedal as well, although full regen setting is good
0-60 3.1s without needing launch control - 4S has been timed at 3.4s but even if it is 3.8s its still plenty fast enough...
