At least on Silverstone's service manager's laptop - the drainage check was a tickbox on his electronic service form. He unticked it and it dropped from £1200 to £550. And this wasn't a made-up figure off the top of the guy's head - I saw it on the laptop screen in front of me.
I called...
What's everyone doing with the drainage checks on these services?
I'm being quoted £1200 with checks, £550 without (Silverstone).
Seems like plenty of the quotes people are getting from other dealers don't even mention drainage checks.
I don't want to be a tight-arse about this on a £125K...
I like my Carrara White but I don't find it very metallic. I've seen a few Ice Greys now and they do seem to have more of a flake in there but otherwise looks surprisingly close to CW - that'd be my pick if I specced this car again.
As it happens I've just today placed my order for a GTS ST - at least I'm in the 18-month queue.. which is exactly how long I have left on my current Turbo, so it could be worse!
I've just noticed "Door Release Levers painted in Black (high-gloss) " on the configurator I'm pretty sure wasn't...
I've had something similar the first drive after washing the car - sometimes the next day. It's the first 5 minutes of driving when regen isn't enabled. I've pushed the brakes and nothing happened, STAMPED on them and then they worked fine. I've also had horrible grinding noises at this point...
I've noticed wear on my upper outer bolster on my driver's side 18-way seat:
(doesn't show up particularly well on an iphone picture, looks more obvious in real life)
Anyone else here with Red 18-way sport seats with wear like this?
Would you consider it normal for a 9-month old car after...
Interesting that people see Ice Grey quite differently. I *do* see it as a variation of white - my Turbo is Carrara White, I had an Ice Grey saloon the other day at PEC Silverstone and it just looked like a more metallic White to me. Which is a good thing, for me at least - my white just looks...
No.
My sales guy just ignored me. I told the post-sales rep (who was handing other warranty issues) and he took it more seriously and forwarded the complaint to Porsche UK, who wouldn't approve the claim because they said it was a natural crease.
I should have chased from there but to be honest...
Are there any dashcam users with a rear camera installed in their Taycan?
Have you had an problems with radio reception?
I've had issues with both DAB+ and FM radio reception since my dashcam was installed. i finally tracked the issue down to the rear camera causing the interference. My camera...
That's such a great red. I don't think many people spec it because it looks pretty awful on the configurator, but looks so much better in real-life. Difficult to spec anything except Black for the interior though. It's between that and Ice Grey for my Sport Turismo if that ever becomes a...
Hi everyone,
Unfortunately I've just heard that the Taycan VIP shuttle part of the event isn't going to go ahead this year. But, we'll try again for next year when hopefully things will be a little more settled.
Thanks
What APR are Porsche quoting?
They offered me 7.1% (ouch!) but got them down to 6.5%. This was October 2020.
I was due to pay around £1400/month with £15K down from memory, but in the end I put down a very high deposit to bring it down to £400/month.
I think if you check other threads on here...
