What size is the main fuse for the supply to your distribution board? The one next to the meter... They used to be 60A but maybe 100A for newer homes - you should be able to get it upgraded to 100A anyway and if it needs upgrading then you may well need a new consumer unit distribution board) too
That’s what I thought they told me. But I started searching online for “glossy 3D carbon fibre wrap” and was amazed at what I found - then the wrapping company website showed something of the same quality, so went with them
Thanks, I’m really impressed too - especially as the whole job was circa £650 inc VAT.
I am still contemplating having the roof panel done in CF and the chrome window surrounds done in black - but I really like as is. Although I will probably get it done to see how good it looks - can always...
The inset “blades” were body colour to begin with and didn’t look great to me - think they look good now with the glossy carbon which nicely contrasts to the more matte black plastic bumper. Too much would be overkill in my mind.
OK, extra pics taken today as the car was cleaned, but raining again, lol...
The quality looks OEM carbon fibre, having had CF mirrors on GT3’s, etc..
I’ll get some close-ups of the mirrors over the weekend
Haha, no kidneys needed as its a wrap - but looks so good you would never know and a fraction of the price... Cost circa £650 for the mirrors, blades in the front bumper, section of the rear bumper and the insert in the side skirts. It’s a Turbo model without the sport design kit so all these...
Just had these fitted to enhance the look of the car - better than the original Silver colour - nice contrast to the overall colour scheme - I’ll post pics of the trim bits (front & rear bumper and side skirt inserts) when the weather pics up
I think there are options within the driver assistance systems that can be switched off that may relate to this. I’ll have a look at my PCM later, but any options that sound like they will make you do something you don’t want to do, get unchecked by me
My EDF EV tariff is 12.5p at all times and once the smart meter is installed, the night rate drops to 8p - but that is something like 9pm to 6am and all weekend - maybe worth looking into what they can offer to keep you
I think the max current setting on the Mobile Charger Connect is 32A, which will give 7.5KW with a 240V supply. Mine has shown 31.5A when actually charging.
