There are lots of threads on this forum about chargers, and as you are 240v in Oz you might find the UK based replies more useful. You should be able to find them using the search function.
You can use the included charger with a suitable 30A outlet. You don’t need another dedicated wall box...

I have been informed that my car is booked in the workshop on 27/04. They must have just recently diagnosed it and ordered the part, after a week.

Yes, VAT included. Pollen filter, brake fluid replacement, inspection of drainage channels etc.
They did say that if there was a problem with the drainage channels then there would be a further charge for rectification.
Reject it and move on, get another later.
You’ll never be happy with the delayed car- you’ll always have the question in the back of your mind “Did that (insert problem here) happen because it was sat in a field?
At least in the EU you have the luxury of inventory cars to look through. At least...
They all came with a portable EVSE, some with the fancy one, when they ran out of the basic one, but most with the basic. A third party EVSE will be a lot cheaper and work just the same. Maybe negotiate a discount?
When I had the same problem last year it turned out to be the comms module that required replacement. The car wouldn’t connect and the tracker was offline despite the green ‘connect’ light being lit.
It was only when I emailed the Porsche GB CEO did they put their back into fixing it...
Had this done today at £463.97. includes brake fluid change, alignment check, particle filter and internal drain checks.

When I had a problem with my 4S, which was taking ages to repair, I found the CEO-UK’s email address. A personally addressed email seemed to stir up a response very quickly.
