After speaking with Porsche, the only solution given to me was to click on "devices" from the main screen and click the CarPlay icon to turn it off. The bluetooth icons will turn blue. CarPlay is now deactivated and if you want to use CarPlay, you will have to click the CarPlay icon again...
Since the update to the Taycan 2020 model, the Apple CarPlay is now wireless. I prefer using the Porsche system and only use CarPlay for Waze integration. Is there a way to have CarPlay only come up when I push the CarPlay button. Now when I turn the car on, the music plays for about 30...
I am experiencing the same thing now that I have wireless Apple CarPlay. How do I turn the feature off, so that I would need to tap the CarPlay icon to activate the wireless connection. I find that the only advantage for CarPlay is Waze.
I did not get it and wish I had. I have inadvertently left the charge port door open after charging in my garage. There is no warning light (as with doors) that indicates the port door was left open. Thankfully, my garage is large enough that I did not knock off the door while backing out.

I used the new FPL evolution charging stations at the FL turnpike rest stops. The offer both CCS and CHAdeMO charging fast charging. I charged from 10% to 90% in 14 minutes. It was 265kW charging. By the way, I got 260 miles of aggressive highway driving on 100% charge.
My car is 300 miles old and I just got the SOS message: Emergency call function error. Service required. The light next to the SOS button is red. A trip to the dealer will turn into an all day affair. Any advice?
Can I use either Carlinkit or Cplay2air to make apple CarPlay wireless in the Taycan turbo. If not, is there another option to make Apple CarPlay wireless?

I have programmed the diamond button but I still need to close out the surround view after backing out of the garage. Also, how do you program the next track on the steering wheel.
What do people do for closing their garage. Every time I back out, the surround view is shown and I can’t get to the home link screen without closing out the surround view.
