Yeah, well if you don't pay you can ONLY preheat. You can't even check your battery level or whether your car is charging or not. Can't even see where the car is in the map.
I love it! Want to do something like the side wrap text you did, but on my Model 3 P. At some point I was floating the idea to copy the GT3 RS one but with M3P instead, since the Model 3 kinda looks like some old Porsches (headlight wise). :p
That's just manual cleaning mode. Sets the spoiler to stage 1. Aka the "oh-look-they-forgot-to-close-their-trunk" look. If you ever see one fully out then it's a broken one.
The speed limits are fine, but there are some roads that could be upped by 10 or even 20kph. You'll end up in a tree, in the sea, in a river, or a chasm on most roads going any higher. The roads are full of curves so the Taycan is at home here. ;)
Tesla quietly removed the 100% guidance from manuals and such. Ref: https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/model3/en_jo/GUID-7FE78D73-0A17-47C4-B21B-54F641FFAEF4.html
I have a M3P so can't check, but I believe the car will say/recommend 90% now if you have a base car with LFP.
Personal opinion...
90 is only for LFP (that means lowest trim), and Tesla does have a buffer as well. There is definitely degradation on Tesla vehicles as well. They don't have some kind of magic battery. Ref Bjørn Nyland:

There you have a 21 Model 3 LR with 15.7% battery degradation due to mainly...
But how is it on more normal roads? I mean, anything but American highways as they're straight for 400km. Max speed here is 80 kph because there's barely any flat, straight roads due to mountains. Most of my driving is doing 60 - 70 kph on 1 lane (per direction) roads. :P
How well does it work compared to the base LKA that comes with ACC? LKA very often will just not see the lines and deactivate, and it doesn't work below, I believe, 60kph? 65? Wondering if I should try the free trial.
Oh yeah, right. Forgot about that. Oh well, it's not the end of the world. With no manual control over it, the spoiler just isn't that "cool". Give me my "hey-look-at-me" button, Porsche. The Etron GT has it! Even when you prop it up with a PIWIS it'll still automagically go down after 60...
Happening here too. Service center taking it in next Friday despite no open slots until April. Was told they've seen this before, and she thought an update might fix it. We'll see. Freezing temps here so I do need my car warm in the morning.
That's what Auto regen is for. ;) Coasting until a car is in front where it'll regen -- harder than regen on as it'll try to avoid a collision. Not sure if it'll bring you to a stop, though. I don't want to test to find out.
Covid for Taycan and E-Tron GT. :CWL:
Has Porsche said anything about whether they've been giving out new parts with the issue fixed, or just installing the same old one? Software or hardware fault?
Mine has been fixed, but I share peoples frustration seeing some people getting it fixed...
:CWL::CWL::CWL:
The US is absolutely huge. The chances of running into one are quite slim unless you live in a rich area that also doesn't have terrible EV infrastructure. But then again, it's not a big SUV either. I'd guess you'll see them about as often as you see 718s or 911s.
Here in...
He's driving long distances, and an EV works a bit like diesel cars -- high consumption at the start of a drive. I drive 4km to work and even with all the down hill I can get anywhere from 20 - 37 kWh/100km, and 37 - 45 kWh/100km going back home (up hill). By not flooring it to get up to speed...
