I’ve found the PCM Apple Music app quite unreliable. Following the most recent uPdate general reliability has improved but I now get the following error every now and again: please select a track from the list. If I select a new track it plays for 2-3 seconds before the error appears and the...
Hi
Very similar to me. Porsche made some adjustments but noise came back after a couple of days. Be very interested in your feedback post your weekend investigations! Anything you can share may help Porsche resolve. My car is going back in early next month for a 2nd attempt to fix.
Hi I have exactly the same issue with seat and can make it creak by pushing back. Stops if lowered all the way to the bottom. Or if I make small adjustments when not lowered all the way the creak stops for a little while then returns.
Did Porsche fix it for you?
Exactly! Low soc = no LC. The thread goes in to detail on performance and battery temp and SoC. LC is the cars max performance so is a very relevant thread.
It’s all linked to battery temp and soc. more info found here: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/performance-drop-with-low-soc.3471/page-4#post-49289
Good info.
I’ve noticed available power is nearly always max with battery soc c>55% irrespective of battery temperature. However as the soc decreases lower than 50%, battery temperature has a material impact on available power.
It will be interesting to see your available power with a...
Can you take a pic and share? Be good to see and have a record to share with Porsche as appears inconsistent. Even better if you can include battery temp, SoC and outside air temp.
It is documented full power can only be achieved with Overboost with Launch Control which increase hp from 616 to 670 for the Turbo model. The power drive bar shows this nicely on the power display.
Will be interesting to understand how your available power reduces as your battery SoC reduces...
I think the software must throttle the available power back as the power drive bar illustrates. Either way I’m not sure why Porsche don’t publicise how available power and regen are impacted by temperature and battery SoC.
Thanks for confirming and I really like the way you illustrated the power and regen capacity. I found the temp does impact available power but nowhere near to the same affect as SoC.
