Thank you so much for your reply. I was really worried about this because I thought it might be a fit or spacing issue and was causing damage. This makes me feel much better.
Have you noticed any “knocking” sound when you make a full or wide turn? My friend had this issue with his Taycan when he put the Mission E wheels on his standard brakes and I was worried it might be an issue with the caliper fitting with these wheels.
Haha it's so funny you mention that. When we went to go take a look at our Taycan at the dealership my wife opened the back door and did not close it properly. I nearly lost it because I was walking past the car and thought that the panels were misaligned (a la Tesla), but then I just realized...
I think a lot of it boils down to personal preference. As far as tech is concerned I don't think anything tops what Tesla is doing. Personally however, if you gave me the preference of taking a Tesla vs a Taycan I would take a Taycan any day. 0-60 times and self-driving aren't the only things...
You honestly can’t go wrong with either of the colors you suggested. I went to the dealership yesterday because my Gentian Blue 4S just came in(!) and the color is really sharp. The best part is, it kind of changes in different lighting. In the sun it has a really vibrant blue and in the shade...
Honestly, Carmine Red is soooooo beautiful. You’ll be a magnet for cops and the general public alike, but it looks so good on my wife’s Macan, and on a car like the Taycan I’m sure it will look just as stunning.
For your viewing pleasure:
Silver you can never go wrong, Gentian Blue looks incredibly classy and it's a real head turner, Carmine Red is a whole other beast. My wife's Macan is Carmine red and it always gets looks, and with a car like the Taycan, it's just spectacular. The only question is whether or not you're...
Beautiful vehicle. Have you noticed any performance issues with the bigger wheels and standard brakes? I was thinking of doing the same for my 4S but wanted to make sure it wasn't an issue with the smaller brake size.
Hahaha, this is great. Honestly this should be listed somewhere as the official process for Porsche ownership. I went through this same exact process when making the decision about pulling the trigger on a Taycan STEP FOR STEP. Almost up to step 14, just waiting on delivery...
