Thanks! My breaker is 60A and the wiring is 6 AWG so the charger is set to 80% of 60A or 48A. I had thought I'd get most of the 48A but Dave's input is that while my 45.7A is a curiosity it isn't anything to be concerned about (and not really "low" enough to matter).
Looking for the collective wisdom of this group. I just changed from the PMCC to a Charge Point Home Flex hardwired EVSE for my home charging.
The Charge Point is set for 48A so I was expecting to see something close to 11KW reported by the car. The car is reporting 10.1KW. The Charge Point...
I submitted a claim for $584 for the charge point flex hardwired on 2-17 and received the check via fedex today (2-29). No email from Porsche acknowledging or approving the submission. But Porsche paid it without question or hassle. The charge point was installed yesterday coincidentally and...
Thanks for checking! I haven’t seen a cert error since I did a factory reset. I had taken it off line from wifi for a bit but put it back on to see what happens.
Interesting- I’ve noticed that my timers charge to the target charge an hour early. I checked the car and pmcc a while back when I noticed the timer issue but will double check. Maybe I'm missing somewhere that daylight savings time is set or something like that. Thank You!
Thanks! I just have to say this forum is awesome - always constructive input and clever people.
While I'm intellectually interested in debugging this, the current setup will work fine for me and I don't really have the time right now to put much more into it. I'm guessing that someday Porsche...
I think taking the PMCC offline from wifi did the trick. Porsche should be embarrassed. In any case the "Charging Error" is gone and no more Certificate error.
Thanks Dave for your usual insightful input!
I did a factory reset and took the PMCC off of wifi - I don't use the web portal much and as an added bonus, I won't get unwanted updates. Let's see if not being able to request the certificate does the trick.
I know the "charging error" on my app...
Thought I'd see if the collective wisdom of this group has any bright ideas for this PMCC issue. I am tempted to replace it as most experts here recommend but truth is it's operated ok for me and it just hasn't been bad enough for me to toss it. I've had it since Sept 2020, used the Hubbell...
I'm considering buying the upgrade for plug & charge if it's not crazy priced. The configurator shows it at ~$1,600 so the retrofit will be more. If it's under $2,500 ish I'll seriously consider it. Even at that price in the cold light of day it's probably not worth it but I use EA on trips...
I use smart lift entering my drive and leave it that way in the garage so it is also lifted when I exit. I have had the car since Sept 2020 and no issues leaving it that way. Enjoy!
MY20 4S - As far as I can tell, there has not been an OTA update for my car. I followed the instructions and have seen some minor differences in how the My Porsche app performs and some functionality changes. For my specific car it looks like this was, as others have pointed out, a backend...
