I'm on my third Taycan 4S (two saloon and current one is an ST). I've done 45,000 miles in them over 30 months. Fast, smooth, quiet, practical and enough handling and grip when the mood takes and the right road presents itself. I've done little commutes and big cross Europe trips in it. Couple...
Based on my experience I agree that coasting is more efficient. However on the massively congested UK motorways I tend leave the regen on. It's useful to regulate speed rather than having to touch the brake all the time as traffic ebbs and flows. It must be really annoying for anyone to follow a...
I have just changed from a 4S sedan to the 4sSports Turismo. drives the same as my sedan but with better loading etc. I too went from 20 to 21" wheels. Have you noticed any difference in the ride quality on the bigger wheels. To me the 20" wheels delivered a magic carpet ride along with great...
used the 50kw chargers (Gridserve) quite a bit. If you stop for lunch I reckon you'd get about 100miles into it while you're getting your food and eating it. Worth topping up just to give you some headroom I'd say.
yes, it went back to the dealer and seemed to be fine afterwards - although I didn't have the car much longer after that as it was only on loan pending the arrival of the one I'd ordered. My actual car I've now had for 16 months and it's not missed a beat. It's been great
This warning came up shortly after a loud bang. Was on a undulating country road in Yorkshire. went over a rise in the road, car lightened up and then it landed with the aformentioned loud bang. The car is so heavy it does sometimes get caught out by sequential changes in road levels but I've...
I've gone for Volcano Grey. in my mind it's going to be Batman Grey!
Black is too dark and as said can perhaps be a bit hearse like.
I've already got a dolomite 4S. It looks great from the front and the rear but a bit slab sided, I think, from the side. Grey with black bits and bobs and those...
I have a normal Taycan just now but would prefer the "estate" version. What I really want is something like an RS6 but electric and that can handle properly - so a Taycan "estate" but without all the offroad gubbins would be perfect.
Is it likely that a Sports Turismo will be launched?
Some more real world experience. I have a 4s, battery plus, 6,000 miles on the clock. went from Leeds to Mancherster airport last night so about 130 mile round trip mostly motorway. three people on the way there and four plus some luggage on the way back. temperature was about 9 degrees and...
Fair comment but seemed to me like they'd downloaded all the apps and thought about their route etc only to be let down by duff information and/or poorly maintained chargers. A sorry tale all round and not really their fault I thought
UPDATE - car been to dealer. The car computer had recorded no errors (!) Needed a software update which they've done. So far it's been fine. Don't know for sure whether the problem is fixed

Raedwald,:
The car isn't mine. It's a demonstrator kindly lent to me while mine is being built. I think it's probably a summer 2020 car. Hopefully our MY21's dont have this problem.
