I bought the Taycan because it's an awesome car. The acceleration is insane, it handles incredibly well for a heavy sedan, and I don't need to visit the gas station. 99% of my charging is at home. This is my 4th EV and I still have many gas cars.
I am referring to the whole door. I lowered my 2020 M5 Competition and added spacers. I also got dozens of rock chips on all four doors. I was considering adding spacers to the Taycan, but will have my doors wrapped first.
I would greatly appreciate more aggressive regen. The car is slippery and doesn’t bleed off speed. Also, with spirited driving I am on the brakes a lot more, where in my petrol cars I downshift and use engine braking as I enter the turns.
As the title says, I recently took delivery of my Taycan Turbo! This is my 6th Porsche and 4th EV. It’s by far my favorite Porsche (even after a GT3) and hands down the best EV I’ve owned (which includes 2 Teslas). Options include: premium package, performance package, InnoDrive + ACC, Burmester...
Interesting discussion. The Taycan is my 4th EV (2 were Teslas), but I still love my gas sports cars. I have a 1997 911 and a supercharged Huracan Performante and they both bring a different type of joy than EVs. The petro cars are now more of a hobby than forms of transportation.
