Seems like there have been some developments on the proposed bill according to CNET:
“In other changes made last week in the House of Representatives, Democrats increased the price cap for qualifying EVs. The new language allows for vans, trucks and SUVs with a manufacturer's suggested retail...
I grabbed my key and headed for the Taycan today. Opened the door and when I attempted to sit down I hit my head on the A-pillar because the seat was so high. I was then blasted in the face by Arctic cold air with maximum force in focused mode. The seats then squeezed me far more than I was...
ICE is a dying breed. Enjoy it while you can.
Personally, I’m loving the Taycan and while I do miss the sound of a roaring engine times, I find that more often I desire the quiet with the music cranked up. For me, that more than makes up for it. It’s all about personal trade-offs.
Click your link and scroll to the very botttom. Then click on “standard equipment” and you‘ll see it listed.
Porsche should really do a better job showing what comes standard. I too optioned the PMCC before noticing that this was included. Fortunately I caught it before my order locked.
They...
It is possible for EA to be rated #1 and still be terrible...assuming the others fast-chargers are all even worse. What is your experience with EVGo and others?
Hmm…I think you can get the 18 way seats vented. I have one on order with this. Confirmed in my build sheet. Vented is included in the premium package, which I have, and then I added the 18-way seats as a further upgrade without issue.
The sports design package is the same for both the 4S and the Turbo.
The difference in looks is that the Turbo comes standard with a lower spoiler upgrade (I assume this is what you are referring to as the "lip"). However, you can easily this after-market. It just needs to be painted to match...
One person told me that he simply asked the dealer to swap out the wheels with mission Es attached to another vehicle on the lot.
I also prefer the Mission Es but went with the Taycan exclusive design wheels because it was requiring the brake upgrade - which seems especially excessive given...
I have owned FWD, RWD and torque vectoring AWD vehicles (none of them Porsches besides the Taycan, so take this with a grain of salt).
I’ve found that RWD can be a lot of fun. However, the power can easily result in fishtailing and oversteering, especially when you have the weight in the front...
For a daily driver, I would recommend adding lane-change-assist and the surround view. Both are worth the money vs hitting an obstacle and having to then pay for repairs (or worse in the case of LCA).
Those two features, if added a la cart, would come in at 2,150. However, you already have many...
Agree on the base interior. For the price, the leather package should be included. Too many plastics for sure, but I wonder if that is simply to minimize weight wherever possible since its already so heavy. Adaptive cruise control should also be a baseline standard.
I agree that the driving...
I removed the 22kW charger from my order. I do think it requires 100 amps and needs hardwiring, and this may not even be possible in some older homes.
The faster charging speed initially sounded nice, but the majority of the time the car will charge back to 85% over night when I have much more...
