Just sold my 2020 4S in anticipation of arrival of new GTS. Perfectly happy with the price it achieved (private sale).

They tell me it's the modified part so fingers crossed. I had the exact same issue last year and they obviously didn't have an update back then so fitted the same faulty part.

My 4S has been in the Leeds Porsche Centre for a month and yesterday they admitted to having had over 40 Taycans recovered to them for the same heater issue. They now have parts, but can only do one car a day...and I'm number 22 on the list so will be without the car for at least another month...

Second time the heater in my 4S has stopped working. It seems to break when the weather gets colder! Off the road for 3 weeks last time. They tell me it will be at least 2 weeks before the parts arrive back in stock. Having second thoughts about the GTS I've ordered...

I get this too. Never had so many positive comments and always the first question is; what range can I get?

Thanks for the tip. Worked great. It puzzles me how Porsche's logic suggests that they think a person sitting in the passenger seat somehow prevents the driver from looking at the display. Also, they build cars capable of over 200mph and ask for no evidence that the customer is capable of...

The fixed wheel looks better than the others IMHO...

Porsche CS in the UK confirmed this is a 'safety feature'. I wish this had been explained in the literature/manual/sales pitch prior to forking out £750!

Your spec is very similar to my car! The only thing I would recommend is the Rear Wheel Steering (which includes the Power Steering Plus). It makes a huge impact on the handling of the car and improves the turning circle and low-speed maneuverability. I also specced the Porsche InnoDrive...

My only suggestion would be to drop the Sports package and go for rear-wheel steering and Sports Chono. These really improve the driving experience and the standard front end is more tasteful (IMHO). Is anyone else experiencing this issue? While in P, the passenger display works fine. As soon as I engage D or R, it switches to Standby and the checkbox can't be unticked. Have I missed something in Settings...? Tapping the display screen does no good BTW. It's a great car, but these s/w bugs...

Glad to see you were able to get this fixed. I have had my 4S for 2 months and yesterday it developed exactly the same problem you describe. Have forwarded a link to this post to Porsche UK contact centre. Mine seemed to go wrong after doing a PCM factory reset after problems with the data...
