This is a great post and I have found new joy/love by changing from turbo aero to mission e wheels after 3 years - I find the endless “are you going to change now the new one has been released” and “look how much it’s depreciated” threads bizarre - there was never any guarantee and it is what it...
OMG I thought it was just me! Sometimes on a sloped kerb I really have to debate hard whether to ground my doors or save them and look at the ugly raised height …
May I please ask what eventually happened? This just happened to me and at the same time I lost all blow heating (second time I’ve had this issue as well as a replaced high speed charging port last year) - car currently at the dealer being diagnosed…
Much appreciated! I had my heater and fast charging port both replaced last year and she is currently back in AGAIN for another faulty heater - looking forward to the Hyundai ioniq or similar I get given for the next few weeks …
So I had exactly the same this morning and then noticed no heat from my heaters - already had this fixed a year ago for same problem and looks like it’s happened again (May ‘21 car) - super annoying especially given service in London UK wait time is many weeks …
The first thing I do when I get in the car is turn my dial to “individual” so I can hear that beautiful rumble! 99.9% of the time on other than when on calls … I can’t understand why everyone doesn’t love it! Sound is so important to the whole driving experience but each to their own …
Definitely not over specced in my view - it’s such a great car and is fast - I would add PSCB though if you can :) I do think the RWD is under celebrated!
Re the heating - I have a 2 year old Taycan which stopped heating - it was with the dealership for a couple weeks (I had a Hyundai iconiq as a replacement from Porsche…) - on pick up I was told the heater failure is happening to a huge number of cars - 9 out of 10 recoveries for this reason …...
Im 18 months with a RWD and I can give you a good personal point of reference - I had an RS6 which is obviously AWD and unless I put the traction control into sport/+ or disable the traction management altogether I would not say there is any discernible difference in the traction levels (albeit...
Ok - I have had a Taycan for 18 months and IMHO the sports sound is one of the key options before anything else! Without it the car is losing out on so much personality …. For the relatively low cost cost it’s a 100% option. I would also highly recommend beige interior which I have and love -...
Hi all I’m looking for some factory spec 21s to replace my turbo aero 20s - ideally mission e and gloss black (have PSCB) but all 21s considered - any sellers please PM me!
Must haves IMHO
- air suspension
- 14 or 18 way seats
- sports sound (joy everyday)
- wheels you like
- colour you like
- [base sound and base interior are great so no need to spend more here]
- auto dimming
- folding mirrors
don’t regret the RWD - as good if not better than 4S other than...
