The question is not performance but range. If your going to use the Taycan locally with trips of 100-150 miles, the SB is fine. If you intend to not be limited significantly by range, say 300-450 mile trips are possible and range anxiety is a concern, get the PB.

IF you are planning a long trip, greater than 200 miles, make sure you have a back up charger in addition to the primary one to stop at. EV American is good but I have been to a few where the 150 and 350 stations were not in service, I used the 50Kw to add some milage but needed to go to a back...
IMHO there are a few things that have been updated or added in the US MY21, a 25 foot charger cable, mobile charger connect (the wifi connect), which make a 7% discount less appealing. Good luck.
