The clips are designed to be attached to the shade itself (fastening to the flexible metal rim of the shade) allowing the shade to rest on the gap between the panoramic roof glass and the headliner. The instructions may better help better illustrate.
If you are adventurous, it looks like someone on Aliexpress also has a shade for sale (Foldable Glass Roof Sunshade Window Shade Sunroof Upgrade Mesh Net For Porsche Taycan - https://a.aliexpress.com/_mKxMHkU). I haven’t bought that one so I won’t know if it is any good.
It’s been holding up well. For the most part, I kept it installed and have not taken it down. The creases have mostly disappeared now and is still effective in reducing light from above.
Welcome! The following thread in the Regional section might be of interest: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/pnw-washington-taycan-owners.9577/
I recently received my bezel cover and mode dial from Tom over at Carpokes.com and must say that it is a great addition to the interior. It fits extremely well as if it came from the factory that way.
Tom is now making them to order and you can find out more about how to order yours at...
The seller is the OP in this linked thread: link
What I like about the screen would be the ability remove it when it’s not necessary (since Seattle doesn’t get a ton of sunny days in a year).
Got outside for a few pictures today, I need to take out the steamer to see if I can get wrinkles out. It definitely cuts glare for the rear passengers and darkens the cabin a bit more (I might be using this as a summer-only shade while packing it up during the other seasons).

The install is easy (and exactly as described in the instructions posted by the seller in the...
I just received my pano roof sunshade… haven’t had a chance to get photos of them with the car outside yet… will update when I have those photos.
Product looks to be good quality and it comes with a storage pouch if the shade needs to be packed up. My OCD might require me to iron out the...
The side marker lights are a popular mod and I purchased my set from Suncoast (Link). Some have the dealer’s service department install them and some install at home using some commonly available tools.
Since the RWD Taycan is on the table, you may want to consider the following options to improve the comfort / refinement characteristics:
Air suspension (with PASM) - softens up the suspension in comfort and ability to raise (for clearance or egress) and lower (for efficiency and looks)
Rear...
I have had good luck with Accutint in Bellevue. They did the PPF (Xpel Ultimate Plus) and tint (Formula 1) on my Taycan (also ceramic coated by them). I know there are quite a few reputable shops in the area so it may come down to distance (from where you are), the films you want (Xpel, Stek...
Thank you so much for the insight. I’ve been playing around in ABRP and Bellingham and Mt. Vernon would be viable stops depending on charge levels.
I do intend to spend a few of days up in BC and so I’m looking at hotels with chargers so that should provide a better buffer.
I haven’t found...
