Still perfectly happy with them, good grip and I have not noticed any higher wear rates. They are probably just a bit stiffer in the side walls contributing to a slightly less compliant ride but nothing too outrageous
I got quoted £903 from the RAC. 15 years no claims, now retired but stupidly picked up 6 points in the summer by misreading the rules. That’s a 30% increase, which, with the points, seems fair
I’ve got 21s, which I am very happy with. However, I’ve found the ride is very sensitive to tyre pressure. When I had a new set of N rated tyres fitted the fitter added an extra 4lbs over my normal pressures and the ride turned to $$$$ in sport plus. I went back to normal pressures the great...
If you are prepared to trade range for grip then they seem like a good option. I’m happy with the extra grip. I’ve no idea yet on the longevity, grip normally equals faster wear rates.
A couple of weeks ago I suffered a catastrophic blow out when the the inner rim of one of my tyres wore through. Other people on this forum have seen the same, all wear markers are ok but the inner rim was very worn. All 4 tyres were replaced for the same reason. I’ve got not problem with this...
I’ve got PDLS+. I find they stay on when they shouldn’t, particularly on dual carriageways / motorway. Great in the backroads. I’ve had / got matrix equivalents on other cars and they have been much better suited to road conditions. Luckily, I don’t drive the Taycan much at night😉
After having the correct temperature the next most important factor is speed. Today I covered 137 miles on just under 50% of charge (4s pb+). I literally followed every speed limit to the letter, about 70% motorway 30% A roads. So that’s 270 miles on a full tank, in the UK, in summer, sensible...
i found that if I say I will have a roof box or skis on the roof I get a high carriage, it really does seem that they take a decision based on the total height of you car / luggage. When I arrive without anything on the roof I still get routed to the H channel. I think it’s much more...
Personally I would get the tag, especially if you did not have someone in the passenger seat who could deal with payment. It costs around 10 euro for the year plus any tolls you incur. For me at 10 euro vs the hassle it’s a no brainer
You need to look up part S of the building regs. It came into effect June 2022 but with a grace period up until June 2023 to cover houses that were already under construction. That means that projects approved under the previous regs could be completed according to the old regs. If the build...
I would absolutely not buy this for the reasons you suggest. But it‘s also clear there is something left on the table, Porsche knows it and are talking about FOD options. Let’s get the offer out there Porsche.
Porsche Wolverhampton turned mine around in less than a week, well pleased 😊. However, it took Porsche Assist a week to get it to the dealer. Not pleased about that😡
