I charge for $0.044 per kwh at home, and 99% of my charging occurs at home. While a lot of people don't have the luxury of charging at home (apartment, condo, etc), the ones who do will not be using public DC chargers more than very, very, very occasionally, so this entire point seems baseless...
Looks REALLY good, except I really hate that you HAVE to get the "Pepita" seats if you want a leather-free interior. Not my style at ALL.
Also the fake vents are just tacky. If they're not gonna be functional as vents, figure out another way to style them, damnit.
Can't see myself upgrading...
I don't see any other car on the market I'd want to have as my daily, and I don't expect there to be a single BEV wagon on sale in the USA other than Taycan CT/ST.
Seems new EVs are mostly SUVs, and I already learned from two days of having an R1S that I'm very much a "wagon guy".
That, and...
I've just been hit with the same "data package error".
I do not understand why Porsche is so consistently horrible with this. It's utterly infuriating.

I'm pretty pissed off hearing that this is still an issue. Porsche told me after they fixed it for me (dated Aug 16 2023):
Apparently their "implementations" are as shit as ever if this is still happening to people.
Just, completely fucking unacceptable from Porsche.
The market has already unanimously decided that spying on customers and users for profit is not just acceptable, but a basic expectation for shareholders and stakeholders. "Not purchasing" is not a viable option.
It's as much our prerogative to fight for privacy as it is for a corporation to...
If having to jump through those hoops impresses you, then I implore you to raise your standards for acceptable privacy practices.
They should not be sharing any of this data in the first place. Opt-out is hostile to privacy. I'm glad they have the privacy equivalent of a mail-in rebate, its...
I have absolutely no reason to believe Porsche isn't as bad as VW or Audi.
Fucking disgusting. I'm glad this made news but there still isn't enough outrage.
