Changing kmh to mph in ACC display?

If I recall correctly, the big PCM update that occurred in 2022 fixed the issue. What I meant by "toggling the units" was to change the settings in the main settings menu which would shift everything to metric and then back.

How many of you with Taycans have rear doors that open smoothly ( when opening the doors )

Exactly the problem I had, the window did not drop quickly enough. Here is the text from my service: Been working great for over 2 years now. Exact bulletin number not listed. Hope this helps.

How many of you with Taycans have rear doors that open smoothly ( when opening the doors )

I had that issue with the front passenger window. Anyway, took the car in and they ordered a new regulator. Part came in, but the tech realized that the fix was in a service bulletin and no new regulator req'd. All better now. ?

(Brief!) Downsides of NOT having On-Board 150 kW / 400 V DC Charger

In the US (excluding the Tesla Supercharger network) there are few, if any, >50kW chargers that aren't 800V capable. The Rivian DCFC installations, according to this data sheet, operate at 200-920V.

Why Audi 55 etron charging faster ( LHS IN PIC) than Taycan GTS? Think Q is 400V architecture. Taycan 800 V. Should be other way round

Are you sure that charger installation is 800V capable? Many Kempower installations aren't capable of high voltage charging. 40kW is about right for 400V charging if you don't have the 150kW option.

PSA - Do Not Permit an After Market Windshield Installation

I was told by my original glass vendor that no aftermarket windshields were available for my VIN. I have the thermal and noise insulated glass, so maybe not an option for cars so equipped. Things got annoying and I ended up at Porsche. Looking at all the work they did, including 4 wheel...

RE: Alignment Costs for Taycan, finding a qualified shop

I just had my windshield replaced by Porsche and a full four wheel alignment was indeed performed. Apparently, the alignment is done to center the steering and "baseline" the camera and sensor recalibrations. Two wheels were slightly out of spec and corrected. They did a great job on the entire...

Very happy with 150kW/400V charing option.

This looks to be the model charger you connected to: MaxiCharger DC Fast 60kW-240kW The data plate you pictured shows the input voltage to the unit and not the output. As listed in the specs for the MaxiCharger, the output voltage is variable from 150 to 950 V DC. This charger can easily...

Watch collectors - let's talk watches here!

Here’s a watch that treats the owner like the hiccup in time he really is. There’s a gear in this watch that rotates once every 400 years! So you might see maybe 45° of rotation during your ownership experience (unless you cheat and spin into the distant future). Anybody else find this...

🚨 2025 Taycan Officially Revealed! Specs, Wallpaper Photos, Videos & US Pricing

The increased range will allow you to bypass a broken EA station and make it to the next broken EA station. Nice improvements, but for me, charging is the 800 volt gorilla in the room.

PSA for NA owners: do not bring your PMCC to dealer

I was led to believe that the recall was to fit a new upgraded cable (and that is currently unavailable).

PSA for NA owners: do not bring your PMCC to dealer

Picked up my car from 2YR/20K yesterday. My dealer's actions seem quite reasonable. PS Just double checked my frunk; everything still there. ?

Latest Porsche survey about "Luxury Charging Experiences"

I was infuriated by the survey and told them so. Can Porsche be any more out of touch with reality? I am literally renting combustion cars for my long distance driving needs. The only "luxury" I want is available and reliable charging. They haven't a clue. I blasted them big time and pulled no...
