Mine was in 11th July for ARB6, but now I get the letter dated 28th July saying ARB6 and ARB7. Does that mean I need to bring it back in? Or is the current OTA software update that showed up in the vehicle perform the necessary remedy? fwiw last month they told me there was no problem with...
I never received any correspondence regarding body drains (have received correspondence regarding numerous other recalls).
And yes the brake fluid was flushed as part of the brake line recall.
They quoted me $1200
Recently had my '21 Taycan with 29k miles into Porsche dealer for the HVB recall/inspection and brake line recall. They found nothing wrong with my battery, but the service rep started telling me it was time for my service and gave a quote for ~$1200. I had noticed that I was getting messages...
Any trick to get the PCM back ? I’ve tried the two button reset on the screen and leaving the car locked for half hour.
kind of want to avoid driving home 8 hours with no infotainment.
Got in car after being out at dinner and screen has been like this ever since
Is the TLDR that we need to get our vehicle into the dealer ASAP? Does anyone know of any other thermal incidents since the recall? I've still be charger to 100%.
My dealer locally I don't have the most confidence into actually fix problems, so has not been high priority. But alarmists on...
It’s in a garage so pretty stable temperature. I usually don’t need to have distance “on tap” so I’ve been keeping it around 60% when not driving it for extended periods.
Biggest concern for me is preserving battery longevity
Trying to figure out what generally accepted best practice is for Taycan that will only be driven once a month.
Should battery be left at 85%, 70%, 50% etc.
Tried to connect an OBDLink MX + today. I thought it would be an easy connect given other comments, etc. But I'm getting this error on the app. Also while it was trying to connect on the dashboard I got a high voltage warning. Anyone have idea how to troubleshoot this ?
I pretty much agree. The only counter-example I can maybe thinking of selling a heavily-option '21 4S with low mileage gets one pretty close to the price that used 918 GT4, which seem to be holding value much better than any Taycan.
I agree with you that I didn't purchase this as an investment, but to enjoy it. Coming up on 2 years of ownership of a '21 4S I am faced with a decision: It seems like either sell the car now for over 1/3 less than purchase price, or hold on to it and keep driving. It has low cost of...
Hi, yes I live up in the mountains close to Asheville and make the trip to Atlanta often. @dflohr makes a good case for going up through NW Georgia, especially if your want to totally avoid I-85.
Once you get up there there are so many roads to drive, it just really depends on how much time...
