    Rear tyre wear

P Zeros, 21", 27,500 KMS, 3 years and fronts down to wear bars, rears about 3-4mm. To be honest have been surprised how well they have worn given performance as previously have had to replace tyres every 2 years Currently no Porsche certfied tyres, any brand, in stock anywhere in Australia...

Can you send a few more pics of your chalk/GB? My care came with GB front lights be standard rear light strip. Have been thinking about GB rear....

Which one should I choose out of these Taycans?

1 every time. Heated seats standard but no cooling with RaceTex.

    Radio repeat Taycan

I have had same issue. In the past this was very minor (one word or part of a word) and usually involved a switch from the same station on FM, then switching to DAB when enetering or exiting a tunnel (In Australia, have to have FM repaters in tunnel, DAB not required). I generally 'force' DAB as...

Going to buy used taycan, pls help with decision

I have 360 and HUD. I do not think either essential but was very pleasantly surprised when I first used Sat nav and the directions with a skeleton map appeared via HUD. For me leather, Bose and colour would be more important.

DIY Swapped my ‘standard’ rear light strip for Glacier Ice Blue

I have been thinking about this too. My car was specified with ice blue headlights but standard rear lights. At the moment the letterinf reflects Crayon really well, but then I think about matching....Do not think I would have the guts to do it myself!

    BT/CarPlay connection suddenly faster

I agree, same for me and same timing. Also now rememeber more often (still not every time) if I was last listening to radio or podcast/music.

Car Delivered - but plain white instead of CWM

One regret I have is not having a full wrap from the beginning. After 3 chips on the front had a front wrap. Now have a rear scratch, so having this repaired and a rear wrap. So, as others have suggested, I would have the dealer pay for a full wrap in colour of your choice before delivery. I...

    Leaking left rear tire

Great recommendation - will order one now! I usually nave nitrous fill as always had issues with low pressure but no puncture alarm on my old Panamera (P Zeros) which nitrous fixed. In the Taycan (also P Zeros) every warning has been a truthful puncture. The repairs are OK, just a pain.

    Leaking left rear tire

Has happened to me three times now in the last 2 years. First time was a screw exactly as per your picture. No less of pressure. Last two have been a bolt and a nail, both of which triggered low pressure and could be 'controlled' with top ups of air until I could have repaired. Whilst there is...

    Ventilated Seats - 18 way

Correct! I have 4S with 18 way and the seats are ventilated. Work well and I use this option a great deal. Interestingly the GTS does not have ventilated seats as it has the Alcantara fabric seats as standard.

2 years 5 months and 26000 miles later - sharing thoughts

Great write up and I would agree with all of your comments - the Apple Car Play taking over and not returning to last sound source/track is irritating... I thought you picture of the rear window was going to mention how difficult this is to clean on the inside - I am not huge but really...

Is the new 19.2 kW on board charger worth it?

I have the same experience - 22 to 24 AMPS is about as high is it will go with tripping fault message.

Is the new 19.2 kW on board charger worth it?

I had this installed as a retrofit December 2022 as part of the major software update, as recommended by Porsche.... The charger was apparently quite easy (half a day). The software update in contrast took 4 days. I charge mainly at home (240V, 24AMP, Single phase). No difference as it delays...

2023 Taycan GTS: First 200km, wash & review

Hopefully you will be lucky. I have had buzzes and vibrations from the dome, steering wheel cowl and front passenger head rest which really spoils what is otherwise a very quiet car. Dolomite Silver was one of my colour options so of course you made a great choice! I have found the arm resting...

2023 Taycan GTS: First 200km, wash & review

Great write up and I pretty much agree with all that you have said. Just wait until that dashboard 'dome' starts buzzing on the M2.....(one of our freeways/motorways with a terrible surface). Is your exterior colour Dolomite Silver?
