I had the same experience with my CT and it turned out it came from the back seat passenger safety belt slot. There seem to be friction sounds coming from that slot's bottom part. I just applied pressure downward on it and it disappeared.
The same situation happened to me in Canada two weeks ago. Called in to do the update but then was told while I was waiting the dealership realized they had not received the update that cannot be done OTA.
I am in Montreal as well and the App shows the car being produced on February 9 2022. From your experience, how long before it ships from Germany, arrives in Halifax and finally arrives at the dealer.
I just noticed that since last week the configurator adds an "Estimated Maximum Dealer Fee" worth $2750.00CAD to the car price. This is the first time that I noticed that addition on top of the $1500.00CAD for "preparation"

Well, for the experience of getting it from the factory and spending some time on European roads with no real speed limit...and good roads.
Here even highways are not always in good condition and speed limits are 100 to 110 Km/hr. I think only Montana in the US where there is no daytime speed...
Does the App in the US require a ZIP code along with the credit card ? If so you normally can use your Canadian credit Card and when asked for a ZIP code, Use the Numbers in your postal code plus 00. Ex G1S 4Z7 becomes Zip code 14700. Usually works fine.

I understand. I have a MB 350 and in snowy conditions, the parking distance sensors keep screaming as if I am too close to anything all the time, so I turn it off. So similar situation here I suppose. I fully agree that especially in winter these support tools should not relied upon...
