I enjoy it every time I make a turn. Especially tight multi lane left turns when I’m the inside car. A little goose of the throttle just before the apex and I’m four car lengths down while the outside and easier lane is still in their turn. My favorite option, and lucky for me since I bought a...
I'm 75. I don't have a problem getting in. I do it the way mentioned. getting out I turn completely left, put my feet down, and use my left elbow on the pillar to push out and up, with my right hand on the arm rest. Basically, I LOVE getting in. I HATE getting out. I just want to keep...
I was on the fence about ordering it, but I found the almost perfect Taycan at my dealer, and it came with the package. We’ve had 5 Hybrid vehicles, 3 Porsches, 2 MBs. They were all driven on total electric 60%+ of their lives. I had so many instances of people walking right in front of my...

I agree with Jeremy about the wire. I needed a "permit" and inspection for my set up 5 years ago. While I only had a plug in hybrid, i had a good charger, and my original install let me move up to the Porsche charger .
Here is what I posted on another thread. Do it right the first time...
I am not an electrician! The following is based on the US "car configerator" for the Porsche charger. EU might be different. The "Supply cable" (from charger to the wall socket) is FREE on the order form. What's important is the plug (there are dozens of completely different configuration)...
Mine was dealer ordered. I use it occasionally. You can customize which mode uses it. I DO use it in parking lots, as I’ve been drivind plug in hybrids for years, and people will walk right in front of you because they don’t look and can’t hear you. On my Cayenne hybrid I had a woman smack my...
I have to smile at the range of responses. In YOUR response, you say: “Up/FORWARD for reverse”. That’s clear as mud! But I believe that “muscle Memory” takes over when you are either not really thinking about what you are doing, or acting in response to a critical decision. Driving multiple...
my answer is none of the above! I ii’ve in a rather populated area of California, but I’m about 12-15 miles between either of 2 stations. In heavy traffic, this coul take 30-45 minutes. And maybe it won’t be working. So in the 800 miles I’ve owned this fantastic car, I’ve never been to one...
It’s not a silly question when you have to make this selection in a hurry. AND, Try switching between a Panamera Turbo S-E Hybrid, a Cayenne E-Hybrid, and a Taycan. The first 2 also have a shift lever that if you rest your hand on it, will accidentally move left into the manual position and...
Frank. Thanks for your information. I agree on the normal 80-85%. I wanted to so a full charge and i was going to be going to be doin a couple hundred miles today and tomorrow. I only have about 600 miles on the car. It stopped at 97 an shut ohff because of heat. Im getting a whole garage vent...
Hi All; I’m new to this forum but have read posts from all over.
I see a lot of comments that involve the mileage the Taycan states it will get after a charge. AND
“should I buy the Big battery or not.”
This is my first EV, but I’ve had 5 Plug in Hybrids. 3 MBs and 2 Porsches. A 2018...
My 2021 4S went in this morning. Get’s it’s first wash as well as the update (hopefully). My service adviser said they have been going smoothly so far.
I became a grandfather today. As I write this, my grandson is less than three hours old. I can’t help but look toward the future while contemplating the past. Somewhat ironically, Bob Dylan sings in the background: “The Times They Are A-Changin.”
What has this got to do with electric vehicles...
