Finally got to trying camping in my CT. Didn't find a way to keep ventilation running all night. Unfortunately the car turns completely off after a while (30 min, hour, didn't have mental presence to check as I was trying to sleep) with N+parking brake via menu. This happens both with and...
To my understanding, the "electric" sound you hear in every Taycan on the road, particularly when accelerating suddenly, does not come from the electric motors but rather from a thing called frequency drive. It's function is to convert the electric current from batteries to form and frequency...
After the car alarm going off often on its own seems to have been resolved by sensor change (after a wait that took months), my main issue with the car is unreliable connection with My Porsche app in my phone. Sometimes app things and functions are up-to-date and work with a click, sometimes...
I'm just as close but had to wait for months. Guess it's not a proximity thing but more about availability of the new sensors, that seems to have picked up within a month or so.
A few days in after the replacement was installed, and no false alarms so looks as it did the trick here too...
Dealer informed me that the replacement sensor has finally arrived at the dealership here, after a wait of nearly 5 months. I'll report after the job is done, but reading form previous posts there seems to be reason for optimism.
I got one (CT) and I like it. To me the hue to the eye seems to be more affected by the ambient light than most paints. A thread, some pics that are repeated above but others too:

Have done that in the past.. After the updates to app, I have been in a "let's see if these worked" mode - and I'm quite curious if I could pin down to exact triggers myself. Out of curiosity and in order to give the forum community a hand.
But damn this. Too many variables and too much of a...
This is getting even more difficult to pin down. Today I parked in a warm shopping centre indoor car park (+10C in car park, around 0C outside. 80% charge) without plugging in, so no charging. No presets, timers or anything. Didn't use the double click.
I made it to the elevator door about 50 m...
It's 1:55 AM in Helsinki, and unfortunately I can report that the alarm went off on its own. It's very windy and the car its outside, but nothing close to a storm, just gusts of wind.
I don't have Connect app anymore in my phone, just My Porsche that was updated recently. I Didn't fiddle with...
I have been double clicking the locking for quite some time now, in order to keep the neighbors (relatively) happy. I had a couple incidents when the alarm went off for no reason, naturally in the middle of the night, before I took up the double click. It has worked, as I have had no...
Yes they are.
But to me, the most important feature is the pre-heat/pre-cool. With a few phone clicks 15 min before, you can make sure that the car interior is already at a pleasant temperature by the time you sit inside, no matter where or when you go. It's a feature that once you get used to...
Scandinavian view: for a year-round daily drive that does not always reside in a warm garage and does not have a fixed drive schedule, the ability to pre-heat (or during the few hot summer days, pre-cool) and schedule pre-heat/charging on the fly is very important. Charging here does not...
Had to do some gravel mode first - maybe a proper photo shoot later. But here's a live paint job on the 19" Aeros. The accent color is copper, here not very shiny because of the gravel driving and some misty rain.
Here is my own CT4, delivered today. I had no problem ordering these wheels to a winter tyre set for a CT from a Porsche dealer here in Helsinki, albeit I did see a "not officially supported" text somewhere in the e-mails regarding the matter. Car was delivered to me with the winter set as...
Delivered today. A peek here. I'm sure to take many pics on days to come.
The color sinks in the surrounding light fabulously. Red hues in bright sun, hazy brown in artificial light such as a garage with fluorescents, deep brown in twilight, almost black in low light.
Yee-haw!
CT4, lot of options. Ordered late March, delivery took place today in Helsinki, Finland. All bits on board, nothing left behind to delivered later.
First impressions are quite favourable. Very happy with my choices.
Will post pics to other threads.
