Yes, unfortunately. This is my first Porsche and it was explained to me that I would receive an email "within 24 hours" of delivery. I was not aware that setting up my Porsche ID should have been part of the handover process.
Thanks for your note. The PCM data apps do not even appear on my home screen. I'm making an appointment to take it into the dealer as PCNA is, as usual, completely useless.
One more here. Stopped working around November 9. PCM shows connection to Verizon with strong signal (Devices > ... > Data connection settings > Integrated SIM card status), but data connection does not actually work. Phone app shows vehicle status from November 8. The icon on the right-hand...
For what it's worth, my service advisor went out of his way to emphasize how important the documentation (a spreadsheet detailing all of my Electrify America charging failures for the prior 2 months, similar to OP's) I brought to my bulletin 2120 appointment was in getting the update approved...
This happened to me today. Red "transmission failure" error appeared very shortly after starting the vehicle but before I put it in gear. It disappeared automatically after about 5 seconds. In addition, "Driver Assistance" (InnoDrive, Active Lane Keep) was disabled. I drove to my destination...
Another anecdotal confirmation: after my failed attempt to Plug and Charge ~24 hours after receiving the update, my second attempt at ~7 days after the update was successful.
However, this time the EA screen indicated the vehicle was requesting ~118 kW but was only charging at ~78 kW. A short...
Mine was updated Friday. Dealer told me it may take up to a week to "activate" Plug and Charge, and that I should uncheck it should I have any problems charging until then.
I tried it out Saturday afternoon and indeed got a "payment declined" message on the EA screen with Plug and Charge...
To be fair to my dealer, I proactively offered to bring my documentation and they did ask me to do so. That said, I have many other valid criticisms related to dealer, PCNA, and EA communication, expectation setting, problem resolution, and finger-pointing on this and other issues.
Thank you...
I mentioned bulletin #2120. They said they will need to work with Porsche to get the software update and asked me to bring documentation of my charging issues (I have a spreadsheet similar to OP's). That's all I've got at the moment.
Excellent. I'm hopeful for my upcoming service appointment on the 29th.
Have you noticed any improvement in maximum charge speed? I've never gotten over 140 kW under any conditions.
If they applied campaign WMG4, as they did to my Taycan in mid-August, it does not fix the issue.
Personally I'm not even going to try to have this conversation with my dealer until there is a specific campaign associated with it.
Thank you so much for your diligent work and effort to get a resolution on this. I have the 19.2kW charger and have gone back and forth with PCNA and EA multiple times. PCNA always points the finger at EA and EA is a black hole. Also, it's interesting that while I have never had an issue...
