Yes the factory are at the legal limit but a light tint is still fine to see.
You do run the risk of upsetting the law but it’s a risk worth taking as it looks so much better.
I alway have mine done :)
Sorry for the terrible picture!
Sorry not been here for a while @V10tdi
I agree the LKA is both annoying and borderline dangerous.
The active steering is however great; not 100% but does however take the strain on a cruise as it makes steering lighter and relaxing.
PID will go - I’m not a fan of the auto speed up and slow...
In fact they stand for light, rear engined, rear wheel drive, positive camber front end (sharp handling), negative camber rear (stable) cars…. The Taycan, Cayenne, Macan and Panamera are none of these!
So let’s just enjoy our 2.5 tonne, heavily compromised but rather impressive cars… with lots...
That's not what I said at all though is it.
I merely mentioned that the M5 iDrive worked well and that I didn't experience the minor niggling quality issues. The iDrive didn't glitch or c**p out like the PCM 6 does and to those saying the PCM is new - it's not, it's generation 6 as the name...
No - I misunderstood your point... I thought you meant a basic low-end car (any brand) vs a Taycan.
Base model Taycan vs Turbo S 'should' make no difference, although it does (since supply chain has been prioritised). And I purely added the model into my original post because normally someone...
Many thanks,
Yes I have all that however its the function where it remembers by the specific key (ie. my seat/climate is different to my partner's). When I unlock the car the seat stays in her position and the climate is HOT :)
I suspect it's a software thing as sometimes the memory on the...
Are you serious? That's EXACTLY what premium manufacturers do!
There is a very good reason you buy a 1 Series BMW and it sometimes has rattles yet you buy a 7 Series and it doesn't; additional time and effort is spent to ensure the 'premium product' is delivered as such. In fact Porsche has...
Yes of course you’re right - brain fade for a second. I’ve achieved 145kW max on the 350kW chargers.
To be honest I’d got to the point I’d assumed the car doesn’t have key memory so perhaps I’ll reset and start again. Dealer just said ‘it should work’ but the screens keep flickering and...
Purely subjective and what’s local to me. I have Osprey (work OK but 50kW only abs at my regular place once charger is temperamental). I also find that 50kW charging fails every time if the battery is colder than 18 degrees.
Ionity and even Porsche haven’t given me anywhere close to 350kW...
Just.a follow up on charging - NOT free in the UK sadly, it costs circa $50 to charge 20-100% on a 120kW public charger or about $30 from home for the same.
Expensive but way less than the V8 M5 cost for similar mileage ($150 for a full tank with today’s fuel price which maybe too me 280 miles...
Interesting view on my ‘complaints’ people ?
This car cost £150k ($200k) so it should be right. This isn’t some thrown together truck or economy level saloon (sedan). It’s the pinnacle of modern technology from one of the greatest manufacturing groups in the world.
I don’t disagree with the...
Delivery 22nd December and 3,000 miles in I’m starting to worry.
Don’t get me wrong, my car (Turbo S) never fails to impress me when I hop inside to drive even short distances but I have niggles.
Squeaking seat - ok I’ve not taken it in yet but this really p**ses me off.
- Infotainment -...
£18 per month for each or around £700 each for the lifeline option.
I logged into my account on a computer which is by far the best experience. Added them there but PID doesn’t seem to have arrived in the car yet.
