Interesting! I
wonder if these dates refer to the delivery date after which these models will include the upgrade rather than the date when they will start to upgrade prior models?

So naturally I reach out to my dealer to ask when I can expect this update on my 4 week old car

Hi,
did you manage to get this fixed. MY22 Taycan Turbo. Same issue. I tried resetting the stop height. That didn’t solve the close and lock half close issue for me.
So many dealers are saying the profiles preferred times work whereas they clearly don’t. I found a workaround by mistake. If you select a charging profile with preferred times and you are outside the preferred times, the charge should be paused. It’s not with the current firmware. Turn on...
I too ordered one from Silverstone. I also had to chase so many times (email and phone) without replies I gave up, cancelled my order and went to another dealer. I’ll wait longer but at least I won’t feel like I’m chasing Argos to fix my washing machine.
My dealer, after much chasing is saying this is as designed. I have trouble believing this as it makes no sense (and defeats the purpose of timers in a profile). Very frustrating indeed!

-stopping at 0700 and
-starting again at 22.15
the battery will be charged at 23.55 tomorrow.
The issue is the charge won’t stop at 0700 as it should.
Nor did it wait until 22.15 to...
Updated this morning on Turbo order. April order. Original July 16 build pushed to August 23. Delivery delayed from Aug 13 to Oct 3. To make me feel better the salesperson told me 300 Porsche GB Taycan orders were outright cancelled.
This is what my dealer in the UK emailed me on cost for the Porsche Dashcam:
Unfortunately this can’t be fitted at factory, its something which is fitted at the dealership once your new vehicle arrives.
The cost for the Dashcam is £405.00 & the fitting cost is £390.00 plus VAT so total of £873.00
