I also did a ferry trip last summer and I only made sure to lock the car and disable alarm (double tap on lock button on the key).
Porsche services will resume when you’ll get at your destination and the car connects to the internet.
I suggest you buy priority for the car on the ferry if...
Yes, for city driving or autumn / winter weather: 22-23kw/100km it's what I also get.
During the summer and on non-highway roads (so ~60-70kmh speed average) you'll see much better consumption: more in the range of ~18kw/100km.
During the summer + highway + aircon I would be at 21-22kw/100km.
I agree but let's not pretend porsche is a highly technological advanced car or that the germans know what they are doing. If somebody here wants a more connected car they should buy Tesla. I'm sure that Porsche will never be that advanced with software but it's ok. Embrace the differences...
You need to request ONA6 update also. This is the one with coloured icons + android auto.
On my appointment the dealer did 2 updates to my car: WNJ8 + ONA6. Sounds like you only got half.
Mine does the same when I park the car in a basement or a place with low or no internet connection.
Indeed after a few hours it gets back to normal but its still extremely frustrating.
I would suggest to not do the 12v thing but just wait for it to be back to normal.
My car hasnt had the...
Hi,
I have discovered that if I leave my Taycan CT in a place with no internet connection (underground garage) it disconnects from Porsche Connect (as it was expected) but it also forgets my porsche account including navigation history / preferences etc. and it shows a prompt to connect with an...
I've recently used tesla supercharger in Debrecen, Hungary.
What I've found is that in theory if I would have parked as close as possible to the charger, the cable would have been long enough. The problem is that the parking spots had some really tall stoppers, too far from the charger imho so I...
I've tested it in Austria and decided to stick with regular ACC instead.
What I didn't like about it:
- on highways it would regularly decide to set it's speed to 60kmh even if there was no sign like that and the flow of cars was going with 100+ - so definitely a collision risk
- during mountain...
Hi,
I'll be doing my first long drive in a few weeks with my CT and I am wondering what is your experience with Ionity chargers and how should I prepare best.
I'll pass through hungary, austria, germany, italy all having enough Ionity chargers along my route.
I've seen in the Ionity app that...
Hi guys,
I'm currently ordering my taycan cross turismo and while researching available options I'm trying to understand if I should buy the PMCC (Porsche Mobile Charger Connect) or not, and how do you guys control the charging profiles for your taycans. So here it goes:
1. If my research is...
