I’ve mailed my dealer (Porsche Center Maastricht) and got an appointment (2 days) at the end of September to get the uPdate installed for my Taycan MY 2021. 🙂
Got ONA5 somewhere in April…
Today I received ONA7. Update message states it’s an update for the high-voltage battery.
Haven’t noticed anything new in the PCM…
I'm currently driving a Skoda Octavia loaner and I see points 2 and 3 there as well. Very annoying indeed.
I wonder if this is a CarPlay or a 'VW group' thing....
Will be collecting my car next week (the 22nd). ?
Car ordered in May, so that's about 20 weeks in total. It was 'ready' at the factory 8 weeks ago (July 28th).
Got a phone call from my dealer this morning. My Taycan arrived today! With some missing parts of course... TPMS and spare key being one of them.
Only TPMS is mandatory by Porsche to be installed before delivering the car. Dealer expects TPMS to arrive within 2 weeks! ?
My car is being held back at the factory since July 28th. Last update was that it will arrive next week at the dealer, but I expect it to be without TPMS... So it'll probably sit at the dealer for some more weeks until they receive a TPMS that they can install...
(As stated earlier: car was ready at factory since 28th July but held back because of 'missing parts')
Just got a call from the dealer. They have received a list of cars that were held back with a new estimation on when they should arrive at the dealer. According to this list, mine should...
Keep us posted! My car was ‘ready’ at the 28th, so more or less same timeframe. So when you get confirmation I get a ballpark idea of when mine will be completely ready ?
3 weeks ago, my dealer contacted me to inform me that my car was finished and should be en route to the Netherlands soon. 3 weeks later, my car still hasn't arrived. Turns out my Taycan is blocked at the factory due to "missing parts". Dealer reported that they have currently many cars blocked...
Got some disappointing news last week: apparently my car is NOT on its way to NL but ready at the factory and still waiting for transport... :crying:
Any Dutch/Belgian people here that know how long it takes between the car being ready at the factory and delivery at the dealer?
Mostly A but also B.
Was looking around for a new car to replace my M2 within 1-2 years.
I knew about the Taycan and was crazy about its looks. Went to a PC, made a test drive and I was sold. Within 2 months following the test drive, I ordered my Taycan. Sold my M2 1,5 years earlier than planned ??
Been driving BMW (and my wife MINI) for years. Going from my M2 to ‘an EV’, I never considered BMW as an option although they have been working on EVs for many years (i3, which I also like to drive as a loaner).
First, I really don’t like the new BMW design. The interior of both the iX and i4...
Picking up my Taycan (no CT) next week in Maastricht. First EV, will definitely share any experience with fast chargers, but will be charging at home mostly.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience!
As I have been doubting a lot about getting a RWD or a 4S, I think I made the right choice by going for the RWD as a daily driver with some options instead of an option-less 4S. But, as always, it all comes down to personal preference.
Ordered my Taycan RWD first week of May. Order locked this week. Production is scheduled for week 29. Car expected to be delivered in August (yep, that’s a range of 31 days ?) in NL.
