Hi:
I have a new set of parts for garage wall mounting of your Taycan charger. These came with my car and I never used them, only took them out of the packaging to take pictures for this ad. The parts are:
7PP.915.343
7PP.943.109
7PP.971.605
(picture above from Porsche, see my pictures...
I have a set of winter wheels for sale, bought from a local custom tire company in November 2021. Used only 1 season, about 1000mi, mounted on once and taken off for the Spring. These are Vossen HF5 in bronze, 20x9 front, 20x11 rears, with Pirelli P Zero Winter Elec tires (245/45R20, 285/40R20)...
No offense to anyone in U.S. automotive manufacturing, but consider the disgruntled nature of almost all staff that we could hire in the past year, I'd rather pay an extra $7500 for my Taycan to be manufactured in Germany.
I am selling my well-loved 2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo (VIN WP0AC2Y18LSA72547) because I no longer need to commute. Car was purchased new from Porsche St Louis. Volcano Grey Metallic outside with the 21” exclusive Taycan wheels painted also in Volcano Grey, with a black leather interior but...
I totally agree; I had the same reaction and assumed a lot of these were not safety/major design changes but rather small logistical revisions.
The service foreman confirmed the car originally shipped with Rev A. The current part order online is revision BB.
This concern is legit.
Until a month ago, I joined the same bandwagon as most other folks. I love my car, it's the best commuter car I've ever owned, and everything else seemed mundane.
"These issues are rare. It's a selection bias where only those with problems post, and I'll never have this...
Late model 2020 Taycan Turbo. 7900+ miles, I'm the first owner, car has been flawless except sometimes on my home charger (Juicebox) when I disconnect it was trip the Juicebox fuse. But otherwise the car has not had any issues.
Until in early May, one day I parked at a store and when I got back...
I had the same question and went for the Weathertech and really like it. It doesn't smell as rubbery, and has slightly wider "wings" that cover a part of the two side wells so prevent things from falling in. No slip or issues. I really like it.
Just for giggles, this morning's hypermiling attempt with driving like an old nanny, with numerous people giving me the eye or the finger. Conditions were:
- Ambient 55F, battery temp 65F
- A/C turned off. Could not turn off headlights. No interior heating or music used.
- Maximum pedal force <...
I think this is something that can't be stated enough.
For most folks who don't track their Taycans (or have dedicated track wheels), I think rolling resistance needs to be considered in picking their tire choices. My car came w/ grand touring ProContacts, but if I switched to PS4 the change...
I'm gonna be the black sheep here and say that over the past 7k mi on the Turbo, I probably get an effective range of about 140mi on a routine use (going from 85% down to about 25%). I never charge to 100% nor drive it to 0%, so the max range to me is somewhat theoretical.
I have done 185mi on...
I love Nongs, and did almost the same drive as you. Seattle to Tigard in one charge when we stayed in the Willamette Valley.
Hope you have a great trip!!
I've been following this with interest to see if there's a way I could reduce my charging times at DC stations. Many of them in our urban area are nearby enough that driving there is inadequate to warm up the battery for a real >120kW initial speed even with <20% battery.
Recently I turned the...
