Wow - I was initially quoted £300 from a local firm (UK). In the end I decided not to bother, badge it which improved no end and I’m letting the car go in a month or so… did you just wedge the washers in every available gap?

My dealer phoned me today, out of the blue to see how I was liking the car - took them 12-months! I said it was great apart from the shitty door panels that rattle like fuck. Oh we’ve not heard that before was the response! Fucking amateurs….

Thanks… drove home along the shitty dual carriageway and think the doors are sorted. Now just a rattle from the steering wheel tunnel/column. I have found a local car audio specialist that does sound deadening - doors/wheel arches etc which I may consider…

I’ll try that the weekend. The top section of the drivers door had a squeak so I put some foam in the gap closest to the window (it needs to be fully down) but this morning I’ve got a rattle from the dash… it’s like the forth road bridge, one you think you’ve finished you have to start again!

good luck and report back how you get on… I’ve been trying bits n pieces for a while - mine is silent on smooth tarmac but not on the rougher dual carriageways…

part of this thread has details of where to put the foam, it’s between the dash screen and dash both outer edges. I only knew this was an issue after hearing like a buzzing noise on a rough road and pushing the screen stopped it.. Good luck, rattles and squeaks drive me fecking mad! Dealers are...

I had squeaks from that area but worked out it was the dash screen (now sorted by stuffed foam) and the joint in steering column housing. Just needs a nudge to stop it… I’ve sorted most of the door issues but need to add a bit of foam to the top section, which can be done with the window fully...

We have a Pan ST GTS and a Taycan TS. Love both, the interior in the Pan is far superior to the Taycan (IMO) but the Taycan gets far more use, by both of us! A great pairing IMO, but I’m slightly biased.

Hi, have a Taycan Turbo S with really noisy brakes. Only make a squeal/honk in damp and wet weather when the car finally comes to a halt. Not seen much chatter about it - is it normal for PCCBs or do I have an issue? TIA

I have 21 Mission Es with Goodyear Eagles F1 Asy3 and just replaced the rears. Tarmac quality makes a hell of a difference, but it terms of tyre pressure I’m running at 40 psi on 4 corners. I assume higher pressure reduces road noise?
