Yeah I have a long relationship with them so the I expected the rate at 1.89 (50 bps discount advertised for relationship) but somehow it came out 10 bps less. I didn't ask any questions. And yes it varies from state-to- state.
Not really, they were like the lease a good deal you should do it. There was no way they were going to push PFS they'll match bank rates. I don't things work the way the used to on rate markups. The transparency and the ease of applying online take that away. Moreover, BofA works directly...
BofA ended up giving me 1.79 for 60, 100% LTV somehow. The payments with no money down (either lease or purchase) are with in a few dollars of each other. I think the residual and rate must be poor on the lease.
I don't know how long I'll keep this but it could be 5 years. I don't know what...
Mine had multiple AC failures and this past June they replaced the entirety of the system and it was good and I wouldn’t complain. On low in my Taycan and my other vehicles it’s frigid in nearly 90 degree weather. That was never the case in my model S. In my sons model Y it works as one would...
We just traded a Raven S (refresh) MS LR+ and experienced real life range consistent to about 330 or about 20% less than advertised.
My wife and I went for a quick ride for breakfast yesterday (about 9 miles round trip). We left with 232 mile range and returned with 244. I’m guessing the...
I just traded my wife’s Model S for a Taycan 4S. We would’ve gotten a plaid so price wise it’s pretty even. I have to say Tesla has a lot of virtues but comfort, ride quality and build quality aren’t part of them.
we really enjoyed having the MS but from a driving and daily use perspective...
I did a bit of search and could not find any discussions on planing a road trip. I’d like to drive the 4s from central NJ to Marco Island Fl. Im thinking it might be misguided to just use the navigation and should do a bit more thorough job on where to charge what’s available and where to...
Yes I mean this exactly. If I lease I realize the 7500 deduction immediately in the payments. If I buy i get the 7500 (which I too would adjust my quarterly estimate) but in my haste I forgot to consider that as part of the purchase. This adds to the save of purchase over lease. It’s a real...
Yeah at 1.89 I’d put nothing down and basically pay what I would’ve committed to on a lease. I know payments can be emotional but purely from a financial perspective you don’t give up returns to buy down 189 bps. However we’re people and a 20-30 down payment isn’t going to make that much of...
This is also part of my problem. I also forgot to add if I buy it I get the 7500 tax credit and not the bank—yes I know it’s applied to my payment. I am currently trading in a lease that’s 18 months into a 36.
Yes I should’ve acknowledged that in the OP—it’s the first thing I said to my wife. One can look at that as the risk premium built into the lease. :) That safety net will cost ~9,000—the difference in finance charges over 36 months.
Did you lease yours?
We are getting a Taycan 4s today and I was initially going to lease it, because that’s kind of just what we do, but BofA will give us 1.89% for 60 months. With no money down other that fees and DMV would leave us with a payment about 90 bucks / month more than the lease. As a side note, I...
She was looking to move to something a bit sportier and she preferred the interior in the Porsche. Her comment was this is like splitting hairs but I’d like the Porsche. She had no bad words, and neither did I, wrt to the Audi.
if anything I really came to appreciate the Audi quite a bit...
