In short, that would result in the bikes overhanging off the back by another foot or so and sitting higher up. Factor in the added weight of a hitch rack too and it’s not ideal for hauling bikes. It is an attractive idea if you have other hitch accessories though.
@popjewels, on my original...
Looks and sounds like you were having a great time!
The Sports+ mode doesn't really offer any useful preconditioning. It will have a higher target temperature for optimal power output, but if you sit in S+ mode prior to your session, you'll actually hit the temp limits slightly earlier than if...
I'll let @Mad Matter have the right of first refusal as he did a good job on the last batch. I'm not travelling as much this spring/summer so it's no problem for me to get back into it if needed at the same price as in the past. No minimum order.
Second this! The Black Friday discount is also the best and only discount all year I think.
Did the two day course about a decade ago. Would have chosen the three day course if I did it again.
After rally school, hit the karting track in the evenings at PGP Motorsports park for more.
Nice!
Best way to add more camber is with lowering links. The stock camber adjustment can’t “add” negative camber, only balances left and right. Further lowering the ride height will increase the negative camber as the wheel moves through its travel.
Thanks for sharing! I love Watkins Glen, one of my favorites to drive in the east, especially around this time of year. Those cars you passed looked like they were standing still... Sounds like you're taking the Taycan to the track pretty regularly and that's great!
If you’re going with an aftermarket wheel, whether custom or off the shelf, you should be able to request a clearance template from the manufacturer or seller to be absolutely sure. There’s a small risk that some wheels have a larger drop center than others that would take up some clearance to...
I have a design in CAD, and a supplier lined up, but didn’t have the time or enough initial interest to keep it going. Receiver would be hidden behind the license plate.
Anyone want to help me market this thing and get some solid interest? I’d be happy to get them made if there was a list of 15...
It is as simple as pulling the blade down in the direction of the arrow while holding the arm stationary. The clips in the arm are open on the bottom to let the blade pop out.
There's an easier way to engage the mechanical brakes only. At speed, shift in to neutral, and all the braking will be done by the mechanical brakes and not by regen.
Congrats on the incoming 4CT @DJmaya! Unfortunately I've sold out of these bars and don't have immediate plans to make more.
If anyone else has a second hand set they'd like to part with, feel free to post here.
The width is probably a smaller factor than the tire compound and construction. Most of the rolling resistance comes from the hysteresis of the tread (it doesn't recover from deformation instantly so there's energy loss from deforming it) and that increases with a softer, stickier compound and a...
Wow, that’s a steal, even for 22’ mfg date. I just bought another set. Here’s what my last set looked like in the end after 9 track days, 4 autocrosses and over 5k street miles. Peak grip noticeably dropped off after 5 track days. If the older discount tires last half that time I’ll still be...
