  1. Ridiculous air strut replacement quote from dealer.

I am seeing air struts at $3100 each, and rebuilt units are $1000 each.
  2. Ridiculous air strut replacement quote from dealer.

I suggest you get a warranty that has wear and tear coverage. Porsche Cpo explicitly covers suspension parts but has a wear and tear exclusion clause in it.
  3. Ridiculous air strut replacement quote from dealer.

My 2021 CPO 4s has been making a clunking noise from the driver’s front strut over speed bumps, and the dealer diagnosed it today as a faulty strut but they insist on replacing both front air struts. The estimate is $13600 for both, plus $650 for alignment 😂😂 Does this price align with...
  4. I just got the ARB7 OTA update!

The dealer installed my update last week while installing my $4000 windshield. lol.
  5. Full leather interior - Best cleaner and leather conditioner

Lexol cleaner and Porsche conditioner are my favorite combination to help keep the new car Porsche leather smell.
  6. Active Ride - Less sporty? - Take or avoid?

I guess it's because the car is their daily driver, and they want it to be very versatile .
  7. My first Porsche

I hope you kept the Range Rover as a back up. It will be the more reliable car.
  8. Warranty expiration very soon and due for service

Sounds like something a Porsche dealer would do.
  9. Coolant Leak & Costly Repair – Anyone Else Experienced This?

If a car costs me $11,000 to fix, it will be sold to Car Max immediately.
  10. 12v battery dead....again ('23 CT)

    Top mount of what?
  11. Porsche Platinum Extended Warranty - Safe-Guard Products International - Worth the Price?

Just look for a CPO/approved car with factory warranty. $7k is ridiculous to pay for a service contract. I would never buy a Taycan without factory warranty.
  12. 2023 Taycan - Cost of 2 year service in Vancouver....$3,000???

My 2 year service including brake service was $1016.00 in Atlanta.
  13. 12v battery dead....again ('23 CT)

    Thanks very much.
  14. 12v battery dead....again ('23 CT)

Can someone please post a link to the appropriate CTEK battery tender to buy for this car? I had the same issue 3 weeks ago, but the dealer couldn't find any problems with the battery.
  15. Compensation for car being off the road

My sentiments exactly. I bought my car with 3 years CPO warranty on it, and I intend to use the CPO warranty and sell the car for nothing after that. My car was in service for 45 days, waiting for an onboard charger, and the used car manager tried to talk me into buying a new Taycan. I nicely...
  16. Taycan fire

Looks like the 12 volt battery.
  17. Cayenne Vs Taycan

My setiments are very simlar to OP's. I had a Cayenne E-Hybrid with air suspension for 7 weeks while my charger was replaced, and it was an awful car, in my opinion. It was clumsy and noisy, and the brakes were not too effective. When I got the Taycan back, it felt like a car made by...
  18. Compensation for car being off the road

The dealer kept my car for seven weeks to replace a high voltage charger and they gave me a hybrid cayenne which I was satisfied with. I don’t think Porsche has an obligation to give you a similar car to yours as a loaner. Just my thoughts.
  19. Update: Advice on dealing with uncooperative CA dealership and very troubling braking problem.

You should just call around and wait until you get a certain appointment. I called around in Atlanta and all the dealers told me I had to wait in line. Fortunately I had a defective high speed charger and it took them a month to fix it, so my advisor told me he’d go ahead and do the brake...
  20. Advice from Taycan CPO buyers about CPO +1

No, this is what he wrote: RBGtaycan said: Did it after about 3 years of ownership.....I knew I was keeping the car and did not like being w/o factory warranty (at 4 year point)
