I had mine delivered to my house by the rudest, most sullen, horrible, spiteful little pr*ck I have ever come across in my life. I have had shopping delivered at £15 that was delivered in a more polite manner than a £150,000 car.
I was also ill at the time, he made me traipse outside the house...
I didn’t buy mine for attention - I’d have gone for mamba green and kept the yellow brake callipers if that was the intention. Just genuinely took me by surprise!
I’ve not had one negative interaction so far. People can drive a bit aggressively sometimes and the odd jerk sitting in the fast lane trying to get you to undertake so they can cut you off but that’s about it. Some dad brought his kid over the other day, was sweet.
I’ve had my Jet Black Metallic TTS for 3000~ miles now and I’m just astounded by how much attention the car gets on a daily basis.
Every time I drive it one of the following happens:
- people stopping me to talk about it.
- thumbs up from pedestrians / other drivers.
- other cars speeding...
Wow, you guys are brutal 🤣🤣🤣 (with good reason though).
Points I’d make:
- spending half your disposable income on a car is quite reckless.
- totally understand that you’re young, had a great pay rise and want to treat yourself but what about the optics? Do you really want to be driving a...
You only have £1600 disposable income after all is said and done? I definitely wouldn’t consider spending over £1000 a month on a car salary sacrifice or not if this was the case.
Interesting… it just felt like it would easily have kept going and going, maybe to 200. Shan’t be trying that again though, don’t want to push my luck 😌
I was driving the other day on the ‘autobahn’ for the sake of the legalities and hit 161mph in short order - the car felt like it had a lot more to give and I was just wondering what the top speed would be unlimited?
1500 miles in and i’m in love 😍
